Una medalla la puede tener cualquiera, pero la medalla de por sí es un objeto, pero todo lo que esta detrás no se muestra, solo lo sabes tú y los que te acompañaron en el camino. Generalmente te dan una medalla al terminar la educación básica, otra cuando culminas la educación media, y otra si estudias y te formas profesionalmente. Otra medalla se puede obtener cuando ganamos una competición de algún deporte sobre todo olímpico.

Las medallas son casi iguale, generalmente tienen componentes similares, pero las formas pueden variar, y los materiales también dependiendo del país y la competición. En cambio, los trofeos no se otorgan siempre es más que todo para grandes eventos y competiciones, las medallas si es más que todo como premio hasta de consolación para todo el mundo, tanto ganadores como perdedores y varia con los puestos el color y por supuesto el material.

Cuando estudiamos nos entregan la medalla y un diploma que certifica lo que estudiamos y de que especialidad fuimos capacitados, en los juegos olímpicos tengo entendido que también es similar, solo que en vez de decir a que nos preparamos sale la competencia en la que participamos, la posición, lugar y fecha del mismo, de tal manera que nos quede algo para certificar que se participó.

Para mí, la medalla significa esfuerzo, trabajo, sacrifico, dedicación y constancia. Todo ese trabajo que no se ve detrás me queda constancia del papel y de la medalla que colgadas en la pared van a ir significando mucho, mientras más medallas más satisfacción de saber que tanto hemos logrado y que tanto nos hemos esforzado y que es lo que nos falta según las nuevas metas que tengamos.

All that work that is not seen behind, I keep a record of the paper and the medal that hanging on the wall will mean a lot, the more medals the more satisfaction of knowing that we have achieved so much and that we have made so much effort and what we are missing according to the new goals we have.
