What Happened?

Six months after not posting, here I am again with a comeback post. Gosh. I just wish this is the last one. So what have I've been up to outside Hive for about half a year?

Nothing. Lol. Just kidding.

First, my room renovation I've been talking about before is still unfinished, although I have already began detaching wires and applying some wall putty last month. Yes, I procrastinate a lot with this task but it's too late to back out now because the walls were already messed up! Haha. And I never thought sanding the wall was very exhausting. I can't wait to paint the walls and proceed fixing the walls of the bathroom next.

Second, I attended a workshop early this year and put up an online cake business. Maybe one day I'll share about it. I've only sold very few cakes since I launched the store but I love the artistry of making it that's why I'm not thinking giving it up despite the low sales. I'm still a beginner and I can't wait for that one day I become an expert on this business.

Third, the kitchen is surprisingly an adventure always! I can now make my own recipe on some dish recently which I am very excited to share here on Hive. I can now also make my own ginger tea (I began last week), which leads me to the fourth...

Allergy is back. About two weeks ago, I felt some uneasiness in my throat and just like that my allergic rhinitis was switched on again. This allergy began a decade ago when the road I passed by daily to school was under construction. Having this allergy for the past decade confirms that it gets triggered with smoke and dust. Heck, it even got triggered when I blew my birthday candles last year. Smoke went to my direction and I began coughing seconds after.

For this time, we were suspecting it was due to the dust from pulling weeds in the backyard. I was cleaning our backyard from weeds lately because they grow so fast due to frequent rain. And since I stopped doing garden stuff until I recover, I can see weeds are growing back again and dried leaves from our mango tree are piling up quickly into the ground. Ugh! I guess applying weed killer is a good option.

The meds I purhased online only arrived the other day but brother visited a week ago and he was able to purchase my medicine enough for at least a week. Meanwhile, my father has some stock of the other medicine I need so he gave me half of his spare meds instead. I am now slowly recovering and hoping that allergy will be over in a day or two so I can resume with my tasks and resume making cakes.

On the other hand, of course, we do visit our mother every month. Her anniversary is in a few days but we still haven't come up with a plan on how to celebrate it.

That's all for now. Take care, wherever you are! :)

It's good to see your presence again here. I was thinking about contacting you LeAnn and yhani for a while now. All of you guys are not in contact anymore XD. I guess I have to blame bch for that.

Rhinitis? Sucks. I have it too. My dust allergy triggers it lol. Its funny cause everywhere outside is dusty XD. Anyway take the medicines on time and get rest :)

You are still renovating home huh. I thought you finished it and was in the process of cake business. I noticed that you posted an art blog too. Gonna check that out now.

Good to see you again kat :)

I hope yhani is doing fine and make her return someday. :) leann and i still chat occasionally. We're meeting in a few months. Yeah, i was wondering how are you guys but i'm too lazy to chat 🤦‍♀️ sorry XD

Hahaha yeah. If i waited renovation to finish before doing business then i might not be able to start the business 😆
