Training ahead of Arsenal this weekend

The bulk of our international players returned to Cobham this morning as preparations for Arsenal's Saturday visit to Stamford Bridge intensified. Reece James participated in the practise at a cloudy Cobham, although Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo have not yet joined the group since they were involved in action in South America overnight.

Due to a hamstring injury, our club captain hasn't played since the first weekend of the season. Axel Disasi, a fellow defender, was also on the grass but missed the international break because of a quadriceps issue. This season, the Frenchman has not missed a single minute of league action for us. Another player who did not play for his nation in the previous week was Armando Broja, who was forced to leave the Albanian team. Before the break, Broja started both of our away victories.

This morning, he was put through his paces as he continues to work his way back to full fitness after suffering an ACL injury last year. Levi Colwill had a unique Friday night. as Wembley, he made his senior England team debut, starting as left back as they defeated Australia 1-0. It was incredible, Colwill remarked. The ideal approach to make your debut is with a victory and a clean sheet.

We gave an effort of which we should be proud, and now we only need to improve. Mauricio Pochettino and his team were clearly having fun despite the drizzle, and after three straight victories, why not? The task at hand is to defeat our London rivals at Stamford Bridge and record a dramatic victory at the onset of a demanding schedule prior to the next international football break.
