Chelsea News - Raheem Sterling & some other guys training at Cobham
The Chelsea players who are not on international duty have two uninterrupted weeks to get ready for Arsenal's Premier League visit over the break. And Mauricio Pochettino and his crew are still present at Cobham with a sizable group. Chelsea entered the international break with momentum after beating Burnley 4-1 on Saturday to make it three straight victories for the Blues across all competitions.

Pochettino discussed his intentions for the break with the players still at his disposal following that game. We'll use it to work on player development and injury recovery, the coach stated. We will work at the practise facility for the next two weeks.
Naturally, the atmosphere is different from the break last month because it is much better to enter it with a win. However, we'll keep trying to improve and keep working hard for next month. Two of Pochettino's most seasoned players will be on hand at Cobham this week: veteran defender Thiago Silva and Raheem Sterling, who contributed to all four of our goals against Burnley. At Cobham, Robert Sanchez, Marc Cucurella, Deivid Washington, and Carney Chukwuemeka will all be hard at work as they continue to regain their fitness after injuries. For the first time since being removed against West Ham in August, the 19-year-old was listed among the substitutes on Saturday. Reece James will be regaining his strength in preparation for our upcoming Premier League match against Arsenal on Saturday, October 21. Pochettino has stated that James should be able to play in that game following his own injury.
Reece is doing well and we are very satisfied with how he is healing from his injury, continued our head coach. He is available, therefore when his suspension is finished following the international break, he may be participating. The second half of this week's work at Cobham will be on getting our other injured players out of the hospital and onto the practise pitch, or at least as near to it as feasible, before we resume our match schedule, as Pochettino explained. Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, Christopher Nkunku, Marcus Bettinelli, and Romeo Lavia are still in the process of recovering, while defenders Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah have already started to practise with the club again.
