Sketching RICKETY Rick - My Digital Art Journey so far

A few months ago, I did a review of my new drawing tablet, showing off the tech in the video. I also decided that I would be sharing the progress of my Digital art learning on my hive blog so one day I'd look back and cringe at how bad I was, but I'd also smile cos of how far I have come. videntium cavere: You're about to embark on a mentally torturing journey of viewing revolting art. But I can assure you it gets better. My first set of drawings was bloody awful though. Stickman and a bunch of rubbish, haha.
In my next art, I pulled of the classic
22 bird. So much better than the previous art (if we can call them that). My latest sketch has improved a lot more. It took a lot of berating from my teacher though.
SLOW DOWN THERE TIGER. Before you come at me, you have to admit this is waaaaaaaaay better than the previous ones. My teacher kept pushing me and it also involved a lot of erasing and re-drawing. I am not there yet (wtf, I'm no where near), but I have made significant improvements and I am still making them. It can only get better this. If you have any resources or anything at all that you feel would benefit me and my learning process, please do not hesitate to shoot it my way. It would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

When I got my hands on my first graphic tablet the first thing I also did was to do some doodles and silly drawings with my brother, just for fun and to test the sensitivity of the tablet.
I have faith that you will master digital drawing, what I always advise people who want to learn to draw is to be patient and practice whenever you can. In your case you could try some drawing exercises to better control the pulse with which you draw (draw lines at all angles and directions from one end to the other in the window of the program you use, also make circles, ovals and some spirals of all sizes).
