Relocation and re-emergence
Snowy day in Vermont
I was a regular poster on Steemit then I drifted away with the platform. I kept playing Splinterlands after the switchover from SteemMonsters but never made it to the new social sites. Here I am.
I also moved from sunny California to Vermont where there are actual seasons - kinda shocking. All is good with me and my family. Just took advantage of a good oppourtunity for change. Having fun here in Vermont. Learning all the eastern versions of the west coast birds like Bluejays instead of Scrubjays, eastern Bluebird, etc. Already planted a few apple trees last fall and can't wait for spring to start planting and gardening.
I'll share nature, gardening, everything outdoors plus a little of myself occasionally.
Happy Friday!
🤗

There's a great Community featheredfriends.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend.
I'm looking forward to Spring and warm weather. Much snow to melt away.
Welcome Back.
I look forward to reading your future posts.
For post posted in selected communities or Tribes like Splinterlands: those post get displayed in the Post section of your blog. You can move them to your main blog by rehiving/rebloging your own post. You might already of known that but I figure I let you know just in case you didn't.
Thanks. I haven't figured out the communities yet. Do you have to join/be a member to post in communities? or just make sure and follow their posting rules?
You can post directly from or join a community itself by going to their community on Hive.blog/Peakd.com. Find a community by using the explore communities feature located in the list on the side of the main Hive.blog site. Allot of communities have what most call tribes (their own frontend). You can post from their frontends and your post will show on your main Hive blog under the Post section of your blog. Using tribes tags will post your content to said tribe + will allow you the opportunity to earn the tribes token.
Examples:
Splinterlands is: Splintertalk.io (Tag= SPT or Splinterlands)
(Earn SPT token on top of HIVE/HBD)
LeoFinance is: leofinance.io (Tag=leofinance)
(Earn Leo token on top of Hive/HBD)
Most tribes are for general content but some do have specific conent they want. For example Splintertalk.io is for Splinterlands content only. Hiveme.me is for MEME content. 1UP and BATTLE are some alternate gamer tags that award tokens. Palnet/Proofofbrain/Verifyyourbrain are some general tribe tags that will award tokens on top of the HIVE/HBD earned for posting content to the Hive Chain. You can use as many community/tribe tags as your post will allow.
Cool to see you back on Hive... Big change from California to Vermont... you're getting closer to Montreal. Winter seems to be the same 😀
Yeah winter is still hanging around. I'm ready for snow to melt already lol. I got the special drivers license that makes border crossings easier...at least after COVID restrictions end haha
Welcome back! Awesome to see you again! ❤ @steven-patrick! :-)
Great to see some old friends still active :)
