Bringing on new players is tough. I've been in other crypto games were the advantages of the early players just couldn't be overcame...and new users dried up. The only way I think is massive devaluation of cards especially but assets in general 🤦 I don't like to even say this out loud.

I don't think we even need to devaluate anything, we just need to level the playing field; and I don't see a way to make it happen if the cards stay as they are. As with any game of the kind, bigger pockets will be able to buy more cards and play at higher level, I don't see a problem with that. I do see a problem if someone wants to try a game and gets bulldozed over and over again by teams with cards that are impossible to obtain, apart from months of gameplay and luck in the pulls.

They won't specifically devalue the cards. You just change gameplay to make things more competitive and the old cards aren't worth as much. New cards are better. New strategies emerge. On a positive note, introducing "sinks" to take cards off the market or off the playing field like farming on land is good for values.

Absolutely, there are tons of ways to create new usecases for older cards. But getting frustrated for seeing a pressing issue not having the attention it should be getting; we keep thinking in an investment first, instead of making a fun game for old AND new players alike.
