Bridge Truss - Shadow Hunters Rd 215 Entry
Always on the lookout for fun shadows 🙂
Shadow of Bridge Truss is my entry for Shadow Hunters Round 215.
This is a temporary one-lane bridge over Otter Creek in the Cornwall Swamp Wildlife Management Area. The original 1865 wooden covered bridge burned down in 2016. We are voting today on what type of permanent bridge to put in. I'm voting for another covered bridge.
Here's another shot of the bridge with a truck driving away. Taking pictures on a one-lane bridge is tricky 😅 The bridge is on the townline between Cornwall and Salisbury to both towns are voting on the replacement.
We drove to the Cornwall Swamp hoping for some waterfowl pictures but this is the best we could do.
A lone Great Blue Heron that was just passing through..
Glad there were some fun shadows!

sorry to hear your covered bridge burned down. i hope you get a wooden replacement. even then it won't be the same but at least it should make nice shadows
