Running a Business (On Your Own)
"It's not what you know that's going to hurt you, it's what you DON'T know (yet) that's the real kicker."
You've got online banking.
You've got your Xero / QB account set up.
You've got a calendar packed with virtual meetings.
You've got some fancy project management software.
You've got some PPC ads / active social media accounts.
You're running your business.
Pretty much on your own.
Feels good, right...?
(erm, perhaps opting for the 'no-frills' tax & accountancy support wasn't the best idea ever...?)
You feel like you're paying way more tax than your peers.
You can't get any (quick) answers from your accountant.
You're reactive (fire-fighting late bills, penalties etc.).
You have no clear sense of direction.
You feel out of control.
You sleep poorly.
The alternative is to invest in a trusted advisor.
Someone to help you build a solid financial system.
Someone to ensure you are tax compliant.
Someone who shares latest insights.
Someone who has seen it before.
Someone who's got your back.
Been there done that lol. You learn very quickly and you have many restless nights.
100%!

I am running my own business within Pakistan and it is not easy to run and not every person can run this way because one has to argue a lot with people and tell them the value of their thing.
Running your own business is super tough. Kudos to you!
Yeah nothing is easy.
