Cold Shower Therapy (started today) ❄

I am on a mission to get back into the routine of having cold showers.

I tried it a couple of years ago when I got well into the work of Wim Hof. And it made me feel really good.

There are a number of (unscientifically proven) benefits including fighting off viruses, potentially cancer-fighting and improved testosterone levels.

I found it easiest to incorporate my cold water therapy into my daily morning shower.

This means showering as normal and then turning the temperature down in stages. The goal is then to build up the time that you can stay under the cold water shower from say 10 secs on day one; 15 secs on day two etc.

I started this morning and my plan is to maintain this on a daily basis.

Bathing with cold water is a pleasure in summer, one feels very fresh and light. During the summer I take a bath every night and sleep with lukewarm water.
