Advice for Entrepreneurs from Kevin Kelly

Great advice from Kevin Kelly, the founding chief editor of Wired magazine.

He was asked in a podcast for any advice for budding and existing entrepreneurs to which he responded:

"You should expect an ongoing journey of near death as you experience the rollercoaster ride of entrepreneurship."

He essentially explained that success as an entrepreneur should be viewed as improbable. And you should be cool with this.

And as you go through repeated experiences of your business almost dying (for example trying to meet monthly payroll), you should expect that this is the norm. It was never meant to be easy.

This is what entrepreneurship is all about. The highs and lows of the 'entrepreneurial rollercoaster ride'.

I sure can testify to this!
