Holiiis, en este nuevo post seguiré contándoles sobre las aventuras vividas en mis vacaciones en la ciudad de Bogotá, así que la aventura que recordaremos el día de hoy será la visita al Parque Jaime Duque.
Hello, in this new post I will continue telling you about the adventures I lived during my vacations in the city of Bogota, so the adventure that we will remember today will be the visit to the Jaime Duque Park.
El Parque Jaime Duque es un parque temático, que es extremadamente enorme, tanto que llegamos a las 10 am y nos fuimos a las 4 pm, y no nos dio tiempo de recorrerlo por completo, para un total de 14Km recorridos a pie dentro de las instalaciones del parque.
The Jaime Duque Park is a theme park, which is extremely huge, so much so that we arrived at 10 am and left at 4 pm, and we did not have time to go through it completely, for a total of 14Km walked within the park facilities.
Si visitas la ciudad de Bogotá no puedes dejar de ir a este sitio, queda aproximadamente a unos 40 minutos de la ciudad, saliendo desde el terminal del norte.
If you visit the city of Bogota you can not miss this site, it is approximately 40 minutes from the city, leaving from the north terminal.
Es un sitio cultural, ideal para todas las edades en el que no solo te podrás divertir y conocer, sino también aprender o refrescar conocimientos según sea el caso.

Esta visita la realizamos un día viernes, ya que los jueves y viernes las entradas son más económicas, en nuestro caso compramos el brazalete básico, con un costo de 25.0000 pesos colombianos lo que equivale a 6,6 dólares americanos apróximadamente. Este brazalete no incluía atracciones mecánicas y un par de cosas más, pero aún así no importaba ya que por ser tan grande en un solo día sería imposible recorrer todas las atracciones y disfrutarlas al mismo tiempo.
This visit we made on a Friday, since on Thursdays and Fridays the tickets are cheaper, in our case we bought the basic bracelet, with a cost of 25,000 Colombian pesos which is equivalent to approximately 6.6 U.S. dollars. This bracelet did not include mechanical attractions and a couple of other things, but even so it did not matter since it was so big in one day it would be impossible to go through all the attractions and enjoy them at the same time.
Para llegar al parque tomamos un bus en el terminal del norte y le pedimos amablemente al chofer que nos dejara en el parque, pues no conociamos la parada, él nos explicó que el bus solo pasaba por la vía principal y que de ahí deberiamos caminar un poco y así fue, luego de bajarnos del bus, caminamos 5 minutos apróximadamente y ya podíamos ver que habíamos llegado a nuestro destino.
To get to the park we took a bus at the north terminal and we kindly asked the driver to drop us off at the park, as we did not know the bus stop, he explained that the bus only passed through the main road and that from there we should walk a little and so it was, after getting off the bus, we walked about 5 minutes and we could see that we had reached our destination.
Su entrada prometía mucho, pues ya mostraba belleza, lo que hizo que nuestras expectativas crecieran un poco más.
Its entrance promised a lot, as it already showed beauty, which made our expectations grow a little more.
Al momento de ingresar, lo primero con lo que nos encontramos fue con unas pantallas gigantes que cubrían todas las paredes de esa habitación, en donde se proyecaban imágenes de la vida marina y se encontraba un busto de su fundador.
Upon entering, the first thing we encountered were giant screens covering all the walls of the room, projecting images of marine life and a bust of its founder.
Luego de eso nos dirigimos hacia uno de los bosques que posee el parque, espacios abiertos y recuperados, con distintos tipos de flora, donde solo se respira tranquilidad y aire puro.
After that, we headed towards one of the park's forests, open and recovered spaces, with different types of flora, where you can only breathe tranquility and fresh air.
Luego de terminar nuestro largo recorrido por los bosques, llegamos a un lugar donde venden snaks y tienen adecuado un lugar para descansar y fue cuando nos encontramos con unas sillas hechas de botellas plásticas recicladas, cosa que puso muy contenta a
@isamorales quien es 1000% pro reciclaje.
After finishing our long tour through the woods, we arrived at a place where they sell snacks and have a place to rest and that's when we found some chairs made from recycled plastic bottles, which made
@isamorales, who is 1000% pro recycling, very happy.
Dejando de lado la zona boscosa, seguimos nuetro recorrido y entramos como tal al parque, es inmenso, al fondo teníamos la réplica del Taj Mahal. En varias partes del parque se encontraban unos mapas del mismo, por lo que decidimos usarlos para guiarnos ya que aunque también podíamos visualizar el mapa por código QR éste en ocasiones no cargaba.
Leaving aside the wooded area, we continued our tour and entered the park, it is immense, in the background we had the replica of the Taj Mahal. In several parts of the park there were some maps of the park, so we decided to use them to guide us because although we could also view the map by QR code it sometimes did not load.
Decidimos comenzar nuestro recorrido por el orden de los números que indicaba el mapa, primero nos encontramos un camino con esculturas a su lado acompañadas de placas con información sobre ellas.
We decided to start our tour in the order of the numbers indicated on the map, first we found a path with sculptures next to them accompanied by plaques with information about them.
Llegamos al Mar Caribe!!, sí, una estación de este parque cuenta con ese nombre, en su entrada, tenía una exposición bastante realista sobre la prisión de Bocachica.
We arrived at the Caribbean Sea, yes, a station of this park has that name, at its entrance, it had a very realistic exhibition about the prison of Bocachica.
Dentro de éste espacio encontramos un lago con dos barcos enormes, de distintas epocas.
Inside this space there is a lake with two huge boats, from different periods.
Lo más genial de todo esto fue que pudimos entrar y ver como era la distribución de cada uno de ellos por dentro, contaban con artículos a escala real y con varias maquetas pequeñas también.
The coolest thing about it all was that we were able to go inside and see what the layout of each of them looked like on the inside, they had full scale items and several small models as well.
Al salir del barco de guerra, había un mensaje que me gustó mucho y decidí tomarle foto para compartir con ustedes.
As we left the warship, there was a message that I really liked and I decided to take a picture of it to share with you.
Seguimos nuestro camino y llegamos al área de reptiles, mi parte menos favorita, pues estaba llena de varios tipos de serpientes; grandes, no tan grandes, de colores.
We continued on our way and arrived at the reptile area, my least favorite part, as it was full of various types of snakes; big, not so big, colorful.

Luedo de sobrevivir a semejante ataque llegó la hora de entrar al zoológico, donde nos conseguimos con diversos animales, esta parte aunque me gusta ver a los animalitos, no me gusta verlos en cautiverio, siento que sus miradas son tristes y se encuentran deprimidos, menos una manada de monos que estaban como en una islita dentro del parque, donde se les podía ver muy cómodos y felices.
After surviving such an attack it was time to enter the zoo, where we met several animals, this part although I like to see the animals, I do not like to see them in captivity, I feel that their looks are sad and they are depressed, except for a herd of monkeys that were like on a small island inside the park, where they could be seen very comfortable and happy.
En una parte del zoológico hay un desvío con una caminería bastante larga, allí no pudimos entrar ya que el brazalete básico no lo cubría y además así el brazalete no hubiera sido impedimento el tiempo sí lo era, ya que solo subir por allí tomaba una hora hasta llegar a la cima.
In one part of the zoo there is a detour with a fairly long walkway, we could not enter because the basic bracelet did not cover it and even though the bracelet would not have been an impediment, time was an impediment, since it took an hour to get to the top.
En su entrada había una escultura de una mujer, muy similar a medusa y a su lado una placa con su historia, que en resumidas cuentas, es un espiritu perseguidor de infieles.

Siguiendo nuestro camino, vimos a unos ponis muy lindos, en sus caballerisas, así que les compartiré la foto de Rayo que es blanquito como un copito de nieve, si hubiera sido por mí, su nombre no sería Rayo sino copito 😆

El lugar está lleno de réplicas de obras de arte famosas e históricas, es sin duda un lugar lleno de historia. En el centro se encuentra un gran salon donde pasan films informativos, pero no les diré más, vean ustedes mismos un poco de lo que les digo.

Dentro de este lugar hay un museo dedicado a la vida de Jaime Duque, quien como mencioné al principio, es el fundador de éste increible parque, así que aquí les muestro un poco de ese museo.

Yaaa salimos del Taj Mahal y nos dirigimos a nuestra próxima parada, mientras en el camino pudimos observar el tren en acción y nos encontramos con un espacio de atracciones mecánicas para niños.
We left the Taj Mahal and headed to our next stop, while on the way we were able to watch the train in action and came across a children's ride area.
Seguimos con nuestro camino y llegamos hasta la prehistoria, siii la prehistoria, vean por qué les digo esto.

Ese parque se ve super divertido, me encantó la replica del Taj Mahal y el interior de los barcos que te enseña la distribución de los cañones, de verdad que es muy completo, la mejor opción a la hora de pasar una día estupendo.
Fue super genial, es algo que recomiendo sin tener que pensarlo mucho, ir allí te garantiza distracción, no tendrás aburrimiento, hay tanto que ver que un día no es suficiente.
