Jardín Botánico de Bogotá / Botanical Garden of Bogota
Hellow, today we will teleport to the Botanical Garden of Bogota, a wonderful place which we could not miss during our vacation!
If you already read some of my vacation posts, you will notice that I use a lot the words, incredible, wonderful, and things like that, but what can I do if Bogota has its charm, its incredible charm that left me totally amazed 😍.
If you want to read some of my previous posts about my vacations, I'll leave you the links below....

Conociendo el museo del oro / Visiting the gold museum
Now, without further ado, let's get started...
From the outside you can see that it is quite a large place and as we approached the entrance, we were able to observe the place in more detail and see its amplitude. The cost of general admission tickets for foreigners was 5 thousand Colombian pesos (equivalent to 1.5 dollars more or less).
Just as we entered and were thinking about where to start our tour, we met a guide, who kindly informed us at what time her guided tour would start, so we decided to wait around to take advantage of this opportunity and while we were waiting we used that time to take a couple of pictures...
Finally it was time to start our tour, the truth is that I do not remember at this moment the name of the girl who was our guide, what I can remember is that she was super nice, she transmitted an excellent vibe, she was full of energy and the best possible attitude. At the beginning she told us to please do not take leaves or any type of plant, no matter how small, as souvenirs, since everything there was part of its ecosystem and each leaf, each twig, fulfilled its function and in the same way she reminded us of the biosafety rules and that it was essential to wear a mask at all times.
Throughout the tour the guide explained to us about the trees, the plants we saw, their names, where they came from, their properties, characteristics, and also told us that all the animals that live there are because they themselves somehow have come and have made this garden their home, because they are against captivity and are faithful believers of freedom.
Even though we were not able to enter the Tropicario because the entrance fee was more expensive, we were able to pass by where it was located and see it from the outside.
There they have a special garden to grow vegetables, culinary herbs and related things to prepare the food for the employees who work there.
In this part we finished our guided tour, so we continued on our own, getting to know the place...
As we walked more and more we fell in love with this place, which undoubtedly transmits an incredible energy.
While we were still walking and enjoying the walk, @isamorales noticed something on my head, she thought that after so much fooling around, I had a twig in my hair and when she tried to remove it, she noticed that it moved, because on my head there was no twig but a worm, so I almost died of fright, but after seeing it I put my fear aside. And the truth is that it did look like a twig.
After this little scare, between laughter and joy we continued with our walk, we even commented that this would be the perfect place to meditate.
And that is how we concluded this great walk, the Botanical Garden is truly one of those places that you should definitely visit, it is inevitable to fall in love with this place, it is simply magical and connects you with nature in a unique way, you even completely forget that you are in the middle of the city.
