Lesson in Sunny Weather ☀️🥰

I returned home from Istanbul a few days ago. I miss my cats and my neighbors so much. It's been rainy and windy since I've been here, but today it was like the sun was out for us.Those who read my articles know my old neighbor._

She prays every Friday and invites the neighbors to her garden and offers her the pastry she makes. This is customary in Muslim countries. Friday is a blessed day for us, and on that day, some treats are made for charity.

The old aunt called me today and asked for my help. I was going to take care of her granddaughter while she prepared the pastries. Of course I gladly accepted. I love spending time in the garden under the sun after rainy days.

Especially this old aunt's garden full of flowers gives me peace. I witness different flowers in this garden every season.

While she was getting ready in the kitchen, we played games with her grandson. He had a lot of homework since the schools were in the break and I helped him. Yağız goes to the first grade of primary school. He is just learning to read.

He loves Spider-Man very much. I promised to pick up his favorite toy while helping him with his homework. Of course, on one condition. He will do his homework and listen carefully to his teacher.

He happily agreed because he loves going to school and his teacher. Fortunately, I can get along very well with children. I never understood how the time passed. He mentioned that he will give me candy for helping me with his homework 🥰

It is beautiful in all seasons, but I will miss the sunny and warm weather and this garden in winter. After the pastry we ate in the whole neighborhood garden. I couldn't take a picture of that moment so that people wouldn't be disturbed. Maybe one day I'll share it here with permission from the old aunt.
