Photos and thoughts: The Coast Guard (Cesenatico - Italy)
Description
During the summer I was in Cesenatico, a town on the Riviera Romagnola (Italy). At a certain point I passed in front of the Coast Guard building which is located right in the central area of ​​the pier. In the entrance door there are two anchors, one on the right and one on the left, as if they were two fixed guards placed right at the entrance. On the left of the building there is a lighthouse. In reality, the building I noticed should not be the headquarters which I believe is located in the area, not far away. It is probably the historical headquarters that has been renovated.

Thoughts
Passing in front of this building and reading the writing Coast Guard it occurred to me that I don't really know what the Coast Guard actually does.
So I did some research and I understood that the Coast Guard is entrusted with the tasks relating to the civil uses of the sea.
The Coast Guard has specific tasks, here are the most important ones:
-Safety of human life at sea
-Safety of navigation
-Protection of the marine environment
-Monitoring of maritime transport
-Control of maritime fishing.

Durante il periodo estivo sono stato a Cesenatico, un paese della riviera romagnola (Italia). Ad un certo punto sono passato davanti all’edificio della guardia costiera che si trova proprio nell’area centrale del molo. Nella porta d’ingresso ci sono due ancora, una a destra ed una a sinistra, come se fossere due guardie fisse poste proprio all’ingresso. Sulla sinistra dell’edificio si trova un faro. In realtà, l’edificio che ho notato, non dovrebbe essere la sede centrale la quale credo che sia dislocata in zona, non molto distante. Probabilmente è la sede storica che è stata ristrutturata.

Pensieri
Passando davanti a questo edificio e leggendo la scritta Guardia Costiera mi è venuto in mente che non so bene in realtà cosa faccia la Guardia Costiera.
Così mi sono documentato ed ho capito che alla guardia costiera sono affidati i compiti relativi agli usi civili del mare.
La Guardia Costiera ha dei compiti precisi, qui di seguito elenco i più importanti:
-La salvaguardia della vita umana in mare
-La sicurezza della navigazione
-La tutela dell'ambiente marino
-Il monitoraggio del trasporto marittimo
-Il controllo della pesca marittima.
