Gala Games is a blockchain-based games startup. Eric Schiermeyer, the co-founder of Zynga, contributed to its creation.
On 26 March 2022, the GALA token was in 48th position in Coinmarketcap's rankings; today it has fallen to 120th position. Also towards the end of March, GALA had a capitalisation of $1.72 billion, today it has dropped to $0.21 billion.
Since a few months, the rewards in TownSTar are no longer in TOWN tokens, but in in-game NFTs.
News
Gala Games made a deal with Brave, the privacy-focused web browser. It is likely that we will soon see some advertising on BRAVE of some blockchain game proposed by Gala.

On 26-03-2022 the GALA token was worth $0.24.
Today 13-11-2022 the GALA token is worth $0.030.
The token has lost almost 87% of its value since March 2022. Since mid-May the price has been locked in a slightly bearish channel, but this has really lasted for many months.
There is a 65% probability that the price will continue to fall slightly for a few more weeks, reaching the 0.025 threshold and thus making a double minimum.
Conclusions
According to Coinmarketcap's ranking, GALA has lost 72 positions since March 2022, dropping out of the top 100. GALA's capitalisation in 7 months dropped by 88%. The current agreement between GALA and BRAVE shows that even during a bearish market phase, blockchain gaming companies manage to have the fundamentals to make deals.

Il token ha perso quasi l’87% del suo valore da marzo 2022. Da metà maggio il prezzo è rinchiuso in un canale leggermente ribassista, ma che dura veramente da tanti mesi.
C’è una probabilità del 65% che il prezzo continui a scendere leggermente ancora per un po’ di settimane raggiungendo la soglia dei 0,025 andando a fare così un doppio minimo.
Conclusioni

Ma a marzo è successo qualcosa in particolare per cui il valore del token e la capitalizzazione di mercato sono scesi così tanto?
Non so se è successo qualcosa al progetto in quel mese di marzo, ma sta di fatto che Bitcoin era in calo da gennaio e Gala ha seguito tutto l’iter della discesa di Bitcoin. Ancora non è un progetto che si autosostiene, nel senso che come tanti altri cala o sale seguendo l’andamento di Bitcoin. Conclusioni: il prezzo di GALA a mio avviso a solo seguito l’andamento del prezzo di Bitcoin. Per quanto riguarda gli accordi e varie partenership Gala non si è ancora fermata

Gala mi sembra un ottimo progetto,a mio avviso il gaming su blockchain avrà un gran futuro
Concordo con quello che hai scritto @camlock. Aggiungo che secondo me i miglior progetti blockchain esclusivamente dedicati al gaming sono GALA e IMMUTABLE X, ma se ad oggi dovessi fare una scelta tra chi dei due mi convince di più sceglierei GALA. IMMUTABLE X oggi ha poca sostanza, ma per me gli rimane ancora addosso un gran potenziale. Il gaming peró, a mio avviso si sta sviluppando bene anche su HIVE. Attenzione perchè forse anche HIVE in futuro potrà dire la sua sul gaming

Gala rappresenta ben più di un token per il gaming, ma un vero e proprio ecosistema che peraltro sta convogliando alcuni fra i developers per gaming più forti al mondo

Grande MIke! Dai che ci scambiamo opinioni sul web 3.0… proprio qui su HIVE. Gala oggi è un po’ massacrato come valore del token, ma secondo me il progetto non ha perso il suo potenziale. Secondo me è il progetto gaming su blockchain meglio impostato
Sono perfettamente d'accordo. Anche perchè il momento di mercato, sta compromettendo il prezzo di molti token, non solo quello di Gala. Sono abbastanza confidente anche io che potrà dare altre grandi soddisfazioni in futuro

I was able to participate when town star first came out.
The game seemed pretty fun at first but after a few days it was too much work and consumed too much time to play and their initial products for the game to me definietly seemed over priced.
It seemed difficult to navigate through and understand their layout with their procucts at the time, although going to look at the game just now I see it is easier to read through and has been fixed to a more comprehensive layout.
Maybe if this bear market ends the game will do better.
I feel also though the game created a large gap between new players and established players in such a manner to make it extremely expensive and time consuming to bother playing for any competitive reason.
Unlike spinterlands where you can compete in various tiers against people, Townstar appears to be a constant world wide event in which your competing against all participating establishments that are able to continuely stack the chips in their favour based on how much they have accumilated and or spent when the game was first taking off.
So being able to compete and grow the resources at the same rate is not anywhere near an even playing field and I think it seems their is no intention to create a newbie/starter worlds or any kind of tier structure to support future onboarding
and that is kinda where i see it failing and where I seen it in my own self to lose interest
