Why I use Linux, a short podcast for NaPodPoMo
I have recorded a podcast every day this month for the #NaPodPoMo challenge started by @epodcaster.
I have used Linux for many years for freedom as well as lack of cost. I think most people could use it as an alternative to Windows or Apple's OS.

These days I use Ubuntu Studio.

I think you are correct. There is a bit of a learning curve, but they have really made strides to make things like installing software and updating easier for the average user.
I think Linux can be easier to use than Windows in some ways. I rarely have to fiddle with my setup as things just work.
I like using the command line in Linux because it makes me feel like a hacker! :)
True that, And in my case I am using Manjaro which is an Arch based Distro. It is simpler than it use to be, so simple that anyone can do it.
Good choice. I have been running my miner at home on Ubuntu.
Linux was my primary operating system from 2006 to 2020. It's still my favorite operating system to this day, but now I'm on macOS, because ultimately I still have the power of the terminal to work on my servers, and all my hardware and software works without problems. The beautiful thing about this is that if I get tired of macOS tomorrow, I can go back to Linux.
I've just used Linux at home for years as it does what I need with no fuss. Not used Macs much. Have to use Windows for work.
