Last week I started a new initiative linked to @tenkminnows where I would list some accounts who could be minnows soon with a little more support. This was the first post. I have adjusted the criteria this time to focus on people who have a little further to go. I am also listing their liquid funds as it is clear some could easily power up to be minnows already. It is possible that some are waiting for the first of the month for #HPUD, but others may have different priorities.

I leave it to people to decide who to give some votes to. My script makes no quality judgements.

For those who do not know a Hive Minnow is someone with a million VESTS, which is the internal measure of Hive Power. You can see the value for your account on HiveBuzz. The further levels of Dolphin, Orca and Whale require ten times as much HP as the previous level.

I produce this list using some Python code and @HiveSQL. Half the rewards will go to @tenkminnows. I and others delegate to that account and it has build a reasonable stake itself which will stay there for now.

The HP% column shows how close they are to minnow status, which currently is reached at about 542HP. The HIVE and HBD columns include savings. New indicates whether they were included last time. The change in criteria means almost everyone is new this time.

First of all you have been on this platform since October 2021 and have created no content and composed a measly 4 comments of which 1 where you simply typed in the word "Very". I think you have some work to put in and show a little effort before your name will appear anywhere that will gain you any rewards. So I think you can answer your own question.

As the other guy said, you need to put in some work to get anywhere. Hive is not 'free money'. You need to connect with people and that means good posts plus engaging comments. We are all busy and will go to the posts that we find interesting.

Thanks for the update. I sincerely hope that this project continues to build momentum. Yes it does look like there is a nice stake there that will help spread the wealth and build minnows thus helping the entire community. 😁

What is interesting is that some of these people are doing pretty well really making more than I generally do on a post, so they should soon be minnows anyway. I gave some votes out to those who were not doing so well. As I said, it's an experiment. I am happy to work with others to try and retain users.

@steevc I am grateful for your help in growing on this platform, sometimes I wonder what little fish like us must really do to attract those big whales behind our content, that goes around in my mind, but well I keep trying. Thank you very much for your great help

I don't think you should worry about whales. Just build a following of people who enjoy what you do and you will be okay. Everyone has a chance.

Many things to say, but I will summarize: thank you very much from the bottom of my heart, I have been in Hive for half a year and it has been a unique adventure in my life, I have had support from many users and artists, to have now yours just by mentioning me so that others see what I do, is something I will thank you, it is a very valuable gesture for those who are basically starting but already with a good track record ... thousands of thanks @steevc!

If you look on Hivebuzz you are currently a 'redfish'. When you get to a million 'VESTS' (~535SP) you become a 'minnow'. It's just a way to track progress. You can also see the badges in peakd.

Ages ago I started a project to help minnows with the aim of getting 10,000 of them. We still have a way to go.
