Blood Donor

Greetings, everyone!

Unfortunate, a friend had his father involved in a car accident and was seriously injured. He was in need of blood, and yesterday I organized a small ad-hoc donation campaign. And sure yes, I also donated a unit of blood (one unit equals 450ml + a very small quantity for blood analyses).

In total, today we collected 20 units of blood, much more than sufficient for the father of my friend. The extra will for sure be used for other patients. His father is now stabilized, and hopeful will have a full recovery.

Funny thing... they always told me my blood is blue, but turns out to be red like everyone else's!
