"Waiting Hours : Life at a Railway platform [Monomad shots]
While I wait, I will continue to create.
Waiting always kills and it requires enormous amount of patience to tackle the situation. And when it was unexpected delay or one have to wait unnecessary it really makes people to go desperate surrunded by panic and stress. I happen to be in a similar situation few days ago at a railway station. There was kind of desperation all over the place and everyone was looking frustrated. Because the train was delayed for more than hours.
I am not too different. After having a full day of outing on a city site tour, I was expecting a complete rest during my train journey. But once we reached the station our train was delayed due to some technical issue. The platform was too crowded and everyone was looking desperate. I found an empty space on one corner of the platform and was waiting for the train. In the meantime, I took some photographs of different people on the platform either resting, getting desperate, or playing cards and waiting and under stressed.
one of the sleeping person on platform, lying on its luggage
desperateness at extreme, even women suffering showing stress all over the faces
the waiting game continues for each passengers
in the meantime sleeping guy enjoy his sleep in all the chaos.
many people queued up to board the train even the youth getting desperate
the most enjoyable lot, group of old man enjoying game of card.
the platform getting crowded with extra rush and people sat on the floor rather than gettin more tired legs. The waiting hall had no spaces too.
This is quite common sight at any Indian railway station. When there is any kind of train delay, people get desperate and start panicking. There were kind of chaotic atmosphere and lots of noises. The announcement speaker too making it unbearable. Once the train arrives everyone settle down peacfully on their respective reservation and begins their journey.
But the waiting hours alwsys make life misersble. While everyone was panicking, I was enjoying observing the different faces and capturing them on my mobile. Few noticed me, but noone responded. And I spent time peacefully in middle of that chaotic waiting time. Afterall I am creating something for myself.
a good view of those who want to take the train.
Also.the waiting games and their suffering
Excellent photographs beyond the chaos of that moment. The faces of the people said it all. Hugs @steemflow ✨
Yes...I can see the pain in everyone eyes. Though didn't able to click them closely but they were too desperate. I found myself busy with photographs bit they were helpless.
I've noticed, it's hard to look at those faces without feeling with your heart...
that's true
