Kiddies moment in #marketfriday

avatar

Hey @dswigle I can understand #marketfriday community is all about exploring the different market place around the world and also doing some shopping. But sometime these shopping becomes so fun, that many other little things too make it so important moment for life. This is what I experienced when I took my sister for shopping along with her one year old kid.

In our family, whenever a married sister is returning to her we took her to shops for some shopping. This time it was me, taking er to saree shop. While she was busy in selecting, some her kid was busy playing with wthe colorful cloth.

She is looking very pretty, as she is doing her own shopping. Those saree are long piece of cloth that women drape them around their body. So it may be too long for the little kid. But she was full.of excitement in playing with those cloth.

It seems she was giving good hand to her mother. She picks a saree box and then look it carefully. If she likes it then OK else she turn the box away. From one box to another, she was too occupied.

It is good to keep the kids busy, else they keep on creating g nuisance or keep disturbing the shopping experince. But this is not the case with this little angel. She was full of enthusiasm and doing her own research for her time.

She was in too playful mood. Once her focus shifted from the saree boxes to nearby mirror. She turns towards it. Finding her own piece , made her surprised. It was her reflecting that made her bit confused , but she act smartly and started pretending as she was unknown to her own self.

Now she got a new friend, which she discover by her own. She kept on entertaining herself by standing near to her. Trying to touch and get a feel. But the innocent mind doesn't know that it was own reflecting that making her playful. She keep on wooing her, cresting some nostalgic moment for herself.

After a while, it's time to say goodbye. As my sister done with her shopping, we took the kid out of the mirror. She was too silent and amazed with her experince.

Gradually, she is getting to know the real materialistic world. And like any gird , she soon be a good shopaholic. But tuje of time she was very playful and enjoyed her little stay at the saree shop. She really made the shopping looks so easy for her mother.

Good to get some nostalgic moment for the life.. a good send off memory once she reaches her home.

Peace!!

Namaste @steemflow

Oh, but sometimes it is more of a cultural experience, yes? We have come to learn all about different places in the world, with cultures unlike our own.

I like the custom of taking your sister shopping when she comes home to visit. What happens if you don't have a brother? Do your parents take you?

I love your little niece, such an inquisitive little girl! She found everything that was available to touch in that shop, but, she did not make a mess, just moved o to the next thing. :)

The mirror was absolutely priceless! She probably didn't even realize it was herself, how could she? She is too young to make the connection! She really was adorable. I am sure you have fun with her! Thank you for joining the challenge! Please remember to drop your link when you join! Thank you! :)

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world. Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday
