First Time Travelling on Vande Bharat.

A lot of development happened in Indian Railway over the years, and Vande Bharat is one such name that has given a new travelling experience to the passengers. Introduced in 2019, Vande Bharat Express train were built to provide a short-distance, fast and modern service between major cities. Currently, it runs on limited routes and when I got an oppurtunity recently, I didn't wanted to miss out on getting new experince.

Because of the services and speed, the train tickets rates are little on the upper side as compaired to other train that runs on same route. The train appears different from another train. It is made up in Blue and White color with fine finishing all over the coaches. As the train stops on the platform, people are in rush to board the train. This is a common scene at every platform and there is no difference while choosing to travel on this train.

As you enter the train , you might get a feel of entering into an aeroplane. Atleast I get the same feeling. As there were the pantry at the door, and also it was too spacious. A completelly different set up from other train.

Being an AC coaches, there is a push button to open the door for getting inside. The internal set up is again like the aeroplane. Luggage on the top and seating system is similar to an aeroplane. The seats are comfortable and quite relaxing.

The blue color seats gave a good look to the entire train. To adjust the seat, as per your comfort, there is a push button on the arm rest. You can press it to adjust the back rest as per the comfort. Either you bend it to sleep or seat straight.

Also, we have foot rest too. To relax your leg. I like the way, that more focus were given for the passengers comfort. Especially the seating position.

So far, I like this indigeniously made train. Passengers travelling comfort are managed properly. The train also known for its services. As soon as the train left the platform, the internal train staff started distributing a bottle of water to every passengers.

Then comes the breakfast. While making reservation the passenger has the option to choose between veg or non-veg meals. While I, opted for Veg, I got a Green tray containing my piece of breakfast. It has some Indian food along a juice.

While the Non-veg menu were served in Red Plate, containing Bread Omlette. And rest everything same.

After the Breakfast, a train staff clears out all the left over. And then comes Tea Time. Each of the passengers were given a ready mix tea packet. Another guy serves the hot water. We only need to mix the tea packet into the hot water and stir it to make a perfect tea.

When it comes to Indian, train, I heard a lot about stinky toilets. So, I was very curious to know how the toilets look on this train. I intentionally gone to check and found it very clean and hyegenic. There were no bad smells. There is a big wash basin and cleans Indian toilet pot. There is a handwash dispenser too.

Overall, I found this train worth travelling too. It runs on high speed of more than 100km/hr. So it covers the distance faster and gives a unique experince with the services and more importantly the comfort. It is good that Indian railway too focussing on passengers comfort similar in line to Airlines. If you have the budget then definately make use of this train services next time.
