Averted a Major Mishappening : Life at Risk

Man and Machine are closely related with each other. It is the humans who have developed different machine for easing out the job. While machine helps in simplifying the work, it is important for Men to keep checking any wear and tear to avoid any mis happening.

I too averted major accident, when found out a major snag in my two wheeler.

Many people are keeping different vehicle for their conveyance, and other travelling needs. My two wheeler was a well maintained one which helps me in commuting to town and catering different needs. It was not in use since last few months due to certain issue at home. It was more than 9 months, since I took it to the Mechanic for regular check up. Today, when I took it to the field, I notice a different noise and vibration coming out. I quickly took it for servicing.

Later the issue comes out to be a major one and anything could have happened while riding it. But when I took it to the local mechanic, he started to open up the different body parts. It has a fibre body, so does took a little care in opening up. He started with the front portion and slowly moves to back.

The mechanic seems to be an experinced one as in no time, each portion of the scooty were opened and kept differntly. It was kind of watching, the scooty undressing to be naked in front of all.

He started to wash the scooter with pressure pipe. It is important to get rid of any dirt and as it was not been washed since long time, the dusty particle needs to be removed.

The difference is in front of my eyes. What used to be a stock of dust is now converted into shining part.

Later, the mechanic opened each portion, and when I shared him the issue he started to look after each volts.

Then only he found out that, the Bush at the base which holds the engine has weared out. There was a thick iron rod at the bottom of the body that helps in balancing the scooty and the engine portion. The wearable bush can cause entire scooty to fall anytime.

This really give me goosebumps , as my scooty were used by other kids at home too. Any accident would not be easily accepted. I soon asked him to Install a new one. Thus averting a major mis happening.

With my experince I should highlight the concern to every vehicle owner to get the machine checked in regular intervals. People take it casual, but any major snag may cost your life. Stay safe drive safely.
