Midlife crisis.

Today I spent most of the day with a friend, convincing him that everything was still to come. It was a difficult conversation. The man has lost his motivation, or rather he doesn't see a future that will suit him. There is no depression there, there is complete certainty that nothing good is going to happen. How hard it is to keep a positive course when having these conversations. But I've managed it. How else could I do it? After all, if you don't believe in the future, how will the future believe in you?

Faith is the only thing left when there is nothing else. I can't remember a single story in which anything happened without faith. But I know enough stories where terrible things have happened without faith. My choice is obvious...

RU: Кризис среднего возраста.

Сегодня почти весь день провёл с другом, убеждая его, что всё ещё впереди. Это был сложный разговор. Человек потерял мотивацию, а точнее не видит будущего, которое его устроит. Там нет депрессии, есть полная уверенность, что ничего хорошего не будет. Как же сложно держать позитивное русло при таких разговорах. Но я справился. А как по другому? Ведь если не верить в будущее, то как будущее поверит в тебя?

Вера - единственное, что остаётся, когда уже больше ничего нет. Я не помню ни одной истории в которой что-то происходило без веры. Но знаю достаточно историй, когда без веры случались ужасные вещи. Мой выбор очевиден...

I'm slowly getting stronger at $500, which can't help but feel good. But I want to have more, so that with a good set of circumstances this amount will be my investment in the future of HP and financial independence in the future.

Savings today is $518.
