The Positive Impact of Globalization: How It Changed My Life
The world is changing rapidly due to the effects of globalization—the increase in technology and the like—bringing both positive and negative influences to mother nature. The positive impact, which we all know, includes accessible communication through the internet and transportation, and the negative includes industrial pollution and pollution from vehicle exhaust.
On a personal note, globalization has been good to me; it has had more positive effects on me than negative ones. Come to think of it, the only reason you are able to read this text is because of globalization. The phone you are holding or the laptop you are looking at was influenced by globalization.
I would not be able to make some money through Hive if there were no advancements in technology and it was only Web 2. I am very sure that you can relate to this. Imagine if there was nothing like cryptocurrency; imagine if Hive were not here today. I would not have met the friends I have now, the people I have known. You would not even know that starstrings01 existed.
Another positive effect of globalization in my life is that I can easily build my skills through the internet without having to be inside the four walls of a school. For almost a year, I have been studying and taking courses online. Watching pre-recorded lessons made by people I have never met in my life and also being positively impacted by these people. This is something I am very glad about, for without this kind of access, it would be very difficult to build a skill or to get someone around who is vast in it. I don't need to think about how expensive it would be.
Talking about learning, I have been learning Spanish for some years now through a mobile app. I don't even need a physical teacher for that. Just a mobile phone, data, and discipline to learn are sufficient to fulfill this goal of learning this skill. All thanks to the advancement in technology.
Now, I can easily order a product I need online without having to step out of my room or even order a product that is not available in my location and have it shipped to me. Some days ago, I ordered a DIY 3D CLOCK kit that I saw online, and I tried checking if anybody around me was selling it, but I couldn't find it. I was able to easily order the kit online, and it was shipped to me in 3 days.
In my life personally, I have seen mostly the positive sides of globalization. This does not mean that there are no negative sides, but what is more important is how my life personally has been affected by globalization.

Globalization has done immensely positive things to everyone which we are enjoying today. Though there are bad sides, but we still have a choice to choose whether we want to be impacted in the best way or not.

The positive impact of globalization are just too many. I can't imagine how acheic this life would have been without globalisation. We are so lucky taking the advantages it brought on our table. While it has it's negative effects, it's something we can decide to have control over and not allow it's negative side to affect us

I totally agree. Globalization has change a lot but it's for the better.
Moving from Web 2 to Web 3 is the biggest opportunity that Globalization brought us.
And of course, the rest of the benefits like making and taking orders online, and learning newer things like a new language as you are doing.

This is indeed a very beautiful response to the contest and i think you have stolen all the points there is to share on this topic heheeh and it is indeed a fact that thanks to globalization as a result of advancement in technology we all have gotten the opportunity to adapt to modern age and the education of how to operate modern gadgets, personally speaking it has also brought more positivity to my life than negativity and that is in terms of communication, transportation and many more, i dont think life would have been easier for us without globalization, imagine trekking from lekki to ikeja lol...

Imagine the number of friends you would have made if you made such kind of trekking..Plus you would be very healthy as there would not be any pollution in the air. you would just be enjoying clean air.
