# ## A little about me
Hello Everyone! Happy September in advance y'all!
My name is Blessing Ekott. But I prefer to be called Starr🤭 ( PS: I chose the name because a star is the brightest sun in the universe. Just like me: soonest, lol) I live in Uyo, specifically at Aka Road, the heart of the city. And I must say it is a privilege as I'm able to witness a lot of hustles and bustles. I come from a family of seven and I have three wonderfully annoying sisters. We always have each other's backs in a galling way.

## My Education
I'm a graduate from the Nigerian Christian Institute, '019 set with remarkable WASSCE results and outstanding leadership positions at different years of my stay in the school. Additionally, I just completed my Advanced Level Program in the University of Uyo Basic Studies, Ediene Abak. Apart from these, I am also undergoing different online courses on Data Science, Public Speaking and Writing. Aspiring to get accepted into Howard University, Washington DC by Fall 2023. I hope I get in guys!🙏

# ## My Hobbies
I am a reader. Book worm maybe. I read a lot of science books, growth books and spiritual books. Some of my best are: Confident woman by Joyce Meyer. Talent is never enough by John Maxwell. Now, discover your strengths by Don Clifton. How to be led by the spirit of God by Kenneth Haggins and lot more. If I can remember precisely, Learning Never Ends was written at the back of my note book back then in secondary school. And in truth, learning never ends. So dear writers in hive, every opportunity you have, grab a book!
I also love writing as well. Writing short novels, journals, fictions, writing, writing writing! Thanks to my friend @wongi from whom I got to know about the hive community, I have finally found a place I can share my thoughts through writing😊. Aside from reading and writing, I love cooking, singing and playing the keyboard.

# ## What would I bring to the hive community?
Well, a whole lot! As far as my brain can take me (infinity definitely, lol). Fun fiction series for the story lovers, content writing on different topics, inspirational write ups, thoughts, eventful happenings, interesting food recipes, book reviews and recommendations, and lots more! I'm just so excited to get on with my journey here on hive. I'm most excited to get to know more people here. I hope I'm welcomed here.
