Neuville fastest at shakedown of WRC Rally Sardinia 2024

Shakedown of this year's WRC Rally Sardinia was really messy organized and held on some rally cross circuit without any similarity with the event itself.

Championship leader Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) said that person who stands behind this should be fired but I doubt that anyone from Italian organisation care about his words.

He showed that he is very serious about the weekend when posting the fastest time at shakedown in front of Toyota's Seb Ogier and Hyundai team mate Dani Sordo. Ott Tanak (Hyundai) and Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) were 4th and 5th on the shakedown.

Shakedown means nothing in terms of the rally but it is good for confidence to start the rally on high.
