Andreas Mikkelsen tested with Hyundai ahead of WRC Monte Carlo Rallye 2024

Norwegian Andreas Mikkelsen is back in the WRC1 category where he belongs with his speed and commitment to the sport. After four years in WRC2 category with Škoda, he signed a deal with Hyundai, his last WRC team in the premium class.

He got an offer from M-Sport Ford to do a whole season with them but he rejected it and took a partial season with Hyundai to be a 3rd driver and support leading drivers - Thierry Neuville and Ott Tanak in their titles bid.

He is a clever guy and he probably saw what happened to any other driver in M-Sport in recent years. They all either got rejected or they ran away from them. They don't have the budget for development but they want the dtivers to win the rallies or finish on the podium.

So Mikkelsen chose to go for Hyundai and he already got his first outing with them - at Monte Carlo Rallye 2024. He already did the testing before the rallyand we have the video from the test.
