My first site visit of my architectural internship
Early in the morning, my time in at work was 8. Then later, around lunchtime, I received a call from our associate architect that I needed to go with him for a site visit just near my place, so I got excited and said yes, I would be there after lunch at 1 in the afternoon.
It was a redesign of floor tiles, and they had to measure every area of the room that needed new ones. I helped and assisted in measuring and taking pictures of the actual tile and area needed as well.
I was quite overwhelmed by the events. On that day, we needed to deal with the likes of the clients also and needed to listen to what they wanted and suggest better ways as working professionals. Before and after going to the client's location, we went to a tile depot and looked for the same tile the architect told us to find.
It was fun, indeed. I knew this was the first of many. I can't wait to share it for future site visits.

Oww, didnt know you are in the Architectural Industry. That's great, I have always love onsite experiences and being out there in the field, if I were too choose I'd rather have it than officework hehe it's like being in a field trip everyday, but getting paid. 😅
