Hey Hivers! How's it been? I hope you are all doing amazing.
I was thinking about food while spacing out. Then I remembered when I was still in college year 2019, me and my friends (who are also from my previous university and transferred to this university) were always up for something new, like where to eat or what activity to do.
I remembered my other friend suggesting we go to this trendy spot at the time, and we had to be there early because it was first come, first served, and we had to have our names on the list so we could enter at a later time the moment they opened. It is located in Banilad, Mandaue City. The name is Fat Dois. So we were like, "Okay, let's go, let's eat our dinner there." since our class ended early. We went and did a grab. When we reached the place, we were still the ones who were there because some just listed their names and just went and came back at the time of the opening. We listed our names on the paper placed by the door. We were not the ones on the number one list; we were like the 10th person who reserved a seat and a table. So we sat , talked, and waited. It was still around 3 in the afternoon. Until we noticed, time was passing. People were slowly coming. The restaurant opened at 5 pm at that time.

We were on the first 50 list, so we were able to get our seats and table first-hand. Please accept my apologies; I had already forgotten what we had ordered at the time. I guess it was pork, chicken, and ramen. Of course, selfies won't be forgotten while checking the menu and deciding what to order.
Finally! Our orders have arrived. If I'm not mistaken, it took like 20–35 minutes. My memory is cloudy already. We waited for the food for quite some time, but it was all worth it. The meats were served with a lot of cheese. I mean, really cheesy and yummy to the eyes. The food was as perfect as the ambiance of the place. It was like an industrial-modern, contemporary approach.
Time to dig in, but first, let us take a selfie.
Our other friend ordered rice, but the rest of us decided to go with ramen and other foods. We also ordered a pitcher of lemonade. We had fun eating, and our tummies were full. The food was so good.
When we finished eating, we paid. We were talking while going out and thanked the employees for good service and good food. We were walking to the bus stop when we came across a mini pub, just near Fat Dois, and decided to get one drink. I forgot the name of that place. We went inside and ordered a pitcher of Tequila Sunrise. We were having fun talking and all. What we said: 1 drink was added with 1 more pitcher and a beer when my other friend came as reinforcement, and the other 3 female friends bid goodbye already.
And the rest of the night was spent going to the next stop, some bar at Mango Square. Everything was completely unplanned, and it was great.
