Ufff...what a great album. Those who started their hard rock career back in the eighties will surely keep in their memory the memory of having vibrated with this song. That colorful vinyl folder with the robotic “black tiger”, that first instrumental cut called “From The Moon” and when the fifth track was played... what the hell happens! Is the first song repeated? No!

It was the same guitar melody, which served as an introduction to the galloping guitars, one in the hands of Joey Alves, and the other in the hands of that great interpreter called Dave Meniketti, composer of the band, lead guitarist and singer... almost nothing!

“Forever” was the peak of the unreal magnitude of songs that they condensed in the overwhelming trilogy formed by the albums ‘Earthshaker’, ‘Black Tiger’ and ‘Mean Streak’, three plastics from another galaxy in which Y&T shone as one of the key bands to understand the American hard rock of the eighties.

The excellent melody of the song and Meniketti's beautiful voice absorbed a listener who was going wild, one fist on his chest and one fist in the air, full of passion and energy in the imposing chorus. Impressive. It gives goose bumps to remember the apotheosis of the end of their recent show in the capital with this song giving an injection of vitality and overflowing joy to a packed room. Love, respect and admiration for this great band... forever and ever.
