Travelling is said to be one of the best teachers in life as it exposes us to various cities, humans with different behaviours and various stories to tell.

Almost everyone loves travelling but then just very few persons travel..
It's not because others don't want to travel but just because there are factors limiting them from doing that such as transportation costs and most times migration rules also.

Now in this topic of discussion, the migration rules have been lifted and the borders of the whole world have been opened for you to access any part of the world you want... Isn't that awesome?

That decision has its pros and cons actually and that's what I will be discussing below:

Pros Of Opening The World's Border

• Good International Relationship:

When the border is opened, what it means is that with just your complete transportation fare, you can explore any country of your choice.

This will enable us meet various persons of different races and characters and by so doing we will make international friends.

When we have friends in almost all the world, this would Foster peace and harmony among the world.
Who knows, the Russian Ukrainian war would have been prevented.

Racism is also the current trend of the world especially against the Blacks, if the world border is opened and most of these Blacks have free access to other countries, maybe by now, familiarity would have been built amongst them and racism will be drastically reduced.

• Prospers Foreign Exchange:

The import and export levies the businessmen involved in this pay is quite enormous and sometimes make them to settle within their country.

If the world border is opened, it will be easier for them and by so doing the goods and products of all the countries will go all around with ease.

This will also help our Economy grow as we will be exporting almost at equal rate as we import but never importing more than because the border is already open to take out your products with ease.

• Prospers Cultural Integration

Opening the world's border will also be helpful in retaining our culture while we adopt the good cultures of other countries we like also.

This is because we will have free access to travel and witness other countries celebrating their cultures as they will also come and witness ours.

Furthermore, inter-country marriages will really be easier which is also a way of promoting our cultures and this will foster peace and harmony amongst countries.

Who knows, we might have been practicing our good traditional cultures alongside adopting Christianity unlike what we have today in Nigeria where you are seen as an unbeliever when you celebrate your good traditional cultures.

• It's Only Fair For All:

Currently, it just seems as if some citizens enjoy more freedom above others which defeats the struggle for human equality.

A citizen of Britain who has British passport is allowed to travel without visa to
173 countries while someone from Afghanistan has just 28 countries for that , a Nigerian has roughly 50countries for that while an American has 184 countries.

The disparities in these figures are very wide and opening the world border will solve all the problem as everyone will now have equal number of countries to visit Immediately you get the funds for transportation.

• Reduce Immigration Casualties:

Because of the strict rules before entering the borders of some countries, migrants look out for other cheaper ways of entering those countries and most times end up meeting their demise.

If you follow the Immigration reports, you will be surprised when they call the number of deaths every year.
This could be reduced to the barest minimum when the borders are opened to grant all and sundry free access.

Cons Of Opening The World's Border

• High Crime Rate:

There will be increase in crime when the world's borders are opened... This is because criminals could easily navigate across the open borders and evade the security authorities as they have wide range of options.

It might even take more than a century before a murder case will be solved because of this, but, when the borders are closed, it makes it difficult for them to run around and would be caught with maximal effort.

• Brain Drain At Highest Level:

Let's take Nigeria for instance, because of the current brain drain amongst medical doctors and other health practitioners, they are already trying to pass a bill that will prohibit the medical doctors from leaving the country until five years after their graduation as compulsory service.

70% of the doctors still around are here because they haven't gotten a favourable way to exit the country....

Now imagine if the border is opened, wow, that will be disastrous indeed because doctors will be leaving Nigeria even without doing their housemanship, hehehe.

This will make Nigeria health sector deteriorate and suffer immensely.

• Makes It Easier To Smuggle Unwanted Things Into The Country:

A lot of contrabands will be smuggled into various countries with ease should the world's border be opened.

This is because the routine search that is been done at the border before crossing will no longer be done since the borders are accessible to all and this will disrupt the peace of the world as many war instruments can be moved from one country to another leading to the loss of lives and properties.

• Marginalized Growth:

This is yet another demerit of opening the world's border because the developed countries will continue developing leaving the underdeveloped and developing countries no room for development because their whole citizen will be migrating to the developed countries rather than developing their own country.

Weighing the Pros and Cons of opening these borders, I really can't still come to pick and support a side despite writing this article, hence, I really wish for our government officials to just make the country a habitable one where the poorest can survive too.
