My Actifit Report Card and Update: March 5 2025

Hi Everyone,

I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. I wasn’t gone for so long this time. I’ve spent most of my time on my @captainhive account adding another Sapien Loop short story. Currently, I’m writing about one a week. I posted once to my main account. That was my monthly Sapien Loop quiz. I just squeezed it in before the end of the short month of February.

It has been a quiet week for me off the computer. Mostly just routine things. We did have a bit of fun on pancake day. We gave Hamlet the Happy Pig two pancakes. She is a huge fan of pancakes.

Lily goat doesn’t share the same passion, so we just gave her some Ritz crackers. Hamlet has a sweet tooth, and Lily prefers salty foods. Hamlet’s all-time favourite food is pineapple. We give her the three or four remaining pineapple rings from the can after we have burgers.

My Content

The first post that went out after my update was part three of my short story ‘The Chief in the North’. This was a tough story to write. Sanguine and Tiberius are two of the darkest characters in the Sapien Loop series. The short story is necessary as it is an origin story for both these characters. It explains why they are both aggressive as well as why Tiberius’ desires to be like his father and has issues with his mother. The story also explains how the hardships in the North came about. This shaped the Hat Lady’s environment and ultimately her.

The next short story I posted was ‘The Twelfth Loop Begins’. This story describes how the Linap took on the Sentray and managed to defeat them. The struggle between the two species is outlined by Lily when she explains the history of the Linap to Demarcus. The short story goes into much more detail by describing how the Linap actually achieved success. It is a very important story, as the twelfth loop is shaped based on this victory. The biggest threat to Linap were now themselves. This is described in the second book of the series.

On my @spectrumecons account, I posted my second Sapien Loop quiz for the year. It follows the same format as my first quiz. There are nine multiple-choice questions, and the chapters where the answers can be found are stated in the post. This makes the quiz a little easier and more appealing to new participants. So far, seven have entered. This is a reasonably good start. The quality of the responses is pretty good too. It seems people are reading the books, which is my main aim for the book series. The results should be posted in around a week.
