Christmas has come to my community leaving me with reflections 🏕

Lights on

Hello, welcome come on in and join me to receive Christmas on my blog 😁, from today with this post I officially declare myself in the Christmas season.

Last year I made a promise to myself that I haven't kept 🙈, I said that this year I would visit the malls and flood my blog with lots of Christmas, but at this point I still haven't gone out to look at the decorations and the only thing I participated in was the lighting of lights in my community in its second edition. This activity was supposed to be done on Friday the 8th and that day I wasn't at home because I don't have internet where I live and I have to stay in another house to be able to create content, so I was sad because I wanted to take my special aunt for a change of scenery and recreation, to my luck the electricity went out that day and they postponed it to Saturday the 9th so we were able to enjoy everything.

The lighting itself was very funny because all the people were looking towards the church counting down, I thought that first they would turn on the lights inside the church and then in the square, but it was not like that, they turned everything on at the same time and we were all a little disappointed for not seeing in the right direction. We took some pictures, but it was a little uncomfortable because there were many people, so we went to buy some ice cream in front of the square and while we were eating it the electricity went out again leaving everything in darkness, we heard the expression of complaint and we were all sad until we heard a microphone that said that we should count from 10 to 1 again, fortunately this time it was something programmed and when the count finished the fireworks and rockets went off and the lights were turned on again.

This light show lasted a few minutes and the children and adults applauded and were happy, I think they are beautiful, but while watching the rockets in the sky I could not stop thinking about how much money was wasted in those fireworks, in all that could be solved in the municipality, in the amount of food, clothes or gifts that could be donated in old people's homes, orphanages and shelters, in all the pets dogs and cats stressed and nervous by the noise, then I looked at the happy face of my aunt Martina and I thought that the bad public administration is not going to give back to the parents the moments of worry nor the future snatched to the children, if this expense is going to give them a little moment of happiness then I receive it.

After that the symphony orchestra was presented and not to brag if there is something to spare in my country, they are good musicians, the group sang and played several aguinaldos, I remembered my childhood when I was in the place of those children, not long ago 😂. Everything was wonderful, we lasted about two hours and I agreed to come back another day to take more and better pictures, that day my aunt hugged me a lot, gave me kisses and told me all the time that she loved me very much. 🥹
