An expired hose almost killed my car's engine.

Dear friends once again here sharing mechanical repairs with you.
This time I come to tell you a failure that came to me in full road, thank God a person from another car informed me of the coolant canister and did not happen to greater.
How and many know the car I drive daily is a Chevrolet spark year 2011 is my wife's and I try to have it very well maintained, has few km not yet reached 100k, in view of the problems with fuel in the country this car I use more often to save because with daily use only consumes $ 1 per day in fuel.
But despite the little travel we must always do frequent maintenance and there are parts such as cooling hoses and other parts that are rubber tend to expire by the years rather than by travel.
A few months ago I noticed a slight consumption of coolant seeing the leak in a hose heating the car, as the hose was a bit long I decided to cut the tip where the clamp generates pressure and was corrected.
This time I was on my way home when at a traffic light a car at the next post tells me that it is leaking fluid and I parked to the side to check and indeed was leaking liquid just in the hose that had cut months ago.
Despite being a mechanic I do not like to carry many tools in the car, but luckily I had a pliers or pliers that allowed me to disassemble the hose which was so expired that I stayed in my hand in two parts, I had to call a friend to bring me the hose to install it and solve where it was because if I rolled the car so it overheats and damages the engine making the expense much higher.
To replace this hose I just have to disassemble the battery to have access to it and remove the clamps for the car to be in very original conditions are pressure which facilitates the work, while my friend arrived and had the hose disassembled and with this same take the measure to cut the new and that will be the best and original as possible.
It should be noted that when this hose fails many mechanics in the country for not having winter season prefer to remove it and place a rubber plug at the entrance and exit of the route, but I do not like to remove parts or routes of any car because that is part of the design.
The hose arrived, I installed it after cutting it to size, I completed the coolant level and tested the car on for a while to verify that it will work properly and did not summarize coolant to continue my way home.
Once everything was verified I continued on my way, when I got home I let the car rest and started to check the other hoses to avoid similar failures in another opportunity and thus have confidence in the car.

Queridos amigos una vez más por aquí compartiendo reparaciones mecánicas con ustedes.
En esta oportunidad les vengo a contar una falla que se me presento en plena via, gracias a Dios una persona desde otro auto me informo del bote de refrigerante y no pasó a mayores.
Cómo y muchos saben el auto que conduzco a diario es un Chevrolet spark año 2011 es de mi esposa y trato de tenerlo muy bien conservado, tiene pocos km todavía no llega a 100k, en vista de los problemas con el combustible en el país este auto lo uso más frecuente para ahorrar ya que con el uso diario solo consume 1$ por día en combustible.
Pero a pesar del poco recorrido siempre debemos hacer sus mantenimientos frecuentes y hay partes como las mangueras de refrigeración y otras partes que son de goma tienden a vencer por los años más que por el recorrido.
hace unos meses note un ligero consumo de refrigerante viendo la fuga en una manguera de la calefacción del auto, como la manguera era un poco larga decidí cortar la punta dónde genera presión las abrazadera y quedó corregido.
Ya está vez iba camino a casa cuando en un semáforo un auto en el puesto de al lado me dice que está botando líquido y me estacionó a un lado para verificar y en efecto estaba botando líquido justamente en la manguera que había recortado hace meses.
A pesar de ser mecánico no me gusta cargar muchas herramientas en el carro, pero por suerte tenía una pinza o alicate que me permitió desmontar la manguera la que estaba tan vencida que me quedo en la mano en dos partes, me tocó llamar a un amigo para que me trajera la manguera para instalarla y resolver dónde estaba porque si rodaba el auto así se recalienta y daña el motor haciendo que el gasto sea mucho mayor.
Para reemplazar está manguera solo tengo que desmontar la batería para tener acceso a ella y retirar las abrazaderas que por el auto estar en condiciones muy originales son de presión lo que facilita el trabajo, mientras mi amigo llegaba ya tenía la manguera desmontada y con esta misma tome la medida para cortar la nueva y que quedará lo mejor y original posible.
Cabe destacar que cuando está manguera falla muchos mecánicos en el país por no presentar estación de invierno prefieren eliminarla y colocan un tapón de goma en la entrada y salida del recorrido, pero a mí no me gusta eliminar piezas ni recorridos de ningún auto porque por algo eso forma parte del diseño.
Llegó la manguera la instale luego de cortarla a la medida complete el nivel del fluido refrigerante y probé el auto encendido un rato para verificar que funcionará correctamente y no resumiera líquido refrigerante para poder continuar mi camino a casa.
Una vez verificado todo continuo mi camino, al llegar a casa deje reposar el auto y empecé a verificar las demás mangueras para evitar fallas similares en otra oportunidad y así tener confianza en el auto.
Bueno amigos esto fue todo no queda más que agradecer por su tiempo en leer mis y que Dios les bendiga grandemente.

Gracias a Dios pudiste resolver, nosotros aún poco a poco haciendo reparaciones a nuestro carrito, debemos comprar todo el kit de carburador y la bomba de frenos , ya que no tiene, y bueno imagínate así no se puede salir. Ya César publicará por aquí cuando logremos esas metas.
Si reparar un carro ahorita no es fácil por eso hay que sacar muchas cuentas a la hora de comprar uno

Oye que bueno tenerte por de nuevo y que hayas podido resolver eso de la manguera, a mí si me gusta cargar herramientas básicas para justo casos como estos. Muy bien eso que hiciste al llegar a casa, ya uno no puede confiarse. Saludos
Lo mejor es que te rescataron con soltura y te ayudaron a colocar la nueva manguera sin mayor problema, ya a partir de allí es el resto del camino, como quien dice, despejado :)
