My best travel memory ...

I got into the habit of writing a travel journal when I go away for a few days or longer, because every trip has its story. But this trip was different, special I would even say it was exceptional to the point that I kept everything in my memory and my heart!

J’ai pris l’habitude d’écrire un carnet de voyage quand je pars pour quelques jours ou pour plus longtemps, parce que chaque voyage a son histoire. Mais ce voyage était différent, spécial je dirai même qu’il était exceptionnel au point que j’ai tout gardé dans ma mémoire et mon cœur !

Touring three states in the USA by car is so much more an adventure than staying in one place or traveling by plane (especially after a 24 hour flight to reach the distant continent). Yes, you have to drive left, right and drive 16,000 km to complete the loop from Highland California through St George Utah, Grand Junction, Salt City Lake, Denver Colorado. For the return, we start from Colorado Springs passing through Durango, Flag staff Nevada, Las Vegas Arizona and Huntington Beach California.

Le tour de trois états aux USA en voiture, c’est une aventure tellement plus agréable que de rester à un seul endroit ou de se déplacer en avion (surtout après 24 heures de vol pour atteindre le continent éloigné). Oui, il faut conduire au volant à gauche, à droite et se taper 16 000 km pour faire la boucle depuis Highland Californie en passant par St George Utah, Grand Junction, Salt City Lake, Denver Colorado. Pour le retour, on part de Colorado Springs passant par Durango, Flag staff Nevada, Las Vegas Arizona et Huntington Beach Californie.

Two weeks during which I saw a scroll of red and green mountains, breathtaking views on the banks of the Colorado River, I met redskin Indians who preserve their cultures and their territories, I passed in the middle of herds of wild bison at Arizona Zoo. Sleeping in a heavenly hotel at an altitude of 1,988 m, in the middle of a forest and where you see the tips of fir trees at the edge of a road carved into a cave, I would say it is heaven on earth!
I will never forget the feeling of swimming in a swimming pool filled with hot thermal water from the mountains nearby and at the same time you can contemplate the landscape nearby.

Deux semaines durant lesquelles j’ai vu un défilement de montagnes rouges et vertes, des vues époustouflantes aux bords de Colorado River, j’ai croisé des indiens peaux rouges qui préservent leurs cultures et leurs territoires, j’ai passé au milieu des troupeaux de bisons sauvages au Parc zoologique d’Arizona.
Dormi dans un hôtel paradisiaque à une altitude de 1 988 m, au bon milieu d’une forêt et où tu vois les pointes des sapins au bord d’une route creusé dans une grotte, je dirai que c’est le paradis sur terre !
Je n’oublierai jamais la sensation de nager dans une piscine remplie d’eau thermale chaude provenant des montagnes à cotés et au même temps tu pourras contempler le paysage à côté.

The USA is all that and deserves the time to visit.
