Solo’s weekly picks: Travel
Taking a break from the normal and going out to explore is something everyone should do once in awhile. With many places to see around the world, there are always good travel blogs to find. This week I found some travel posts by Hive plankton and minnows, and featured them in this post.
Here are five Hive plankton and minnows talking about travel:
Tourism: Loma Redonda Station, 4045 msnm. By @dojeda
https://peakd.com/hive-147010/@dojeda/2xyjdd-tourism-loma-redonda-station-4045-msnm
Taking a cable car up to the top of the mountains they enjoy a nice view, honestly I cannot say I have done this. I think my fear of heights would keep me from giving this a try but great to see others having fun going up there.
Green Cuba: an ecological adventure in Las Terrazas, Artemisa by @xerox94
https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@xerox94/green-cuba-an-ecological-adventure
Going on a hike they visit multiple locations, one being a water front cooking spot. They also visit a hotel and got to see the pier they had there going out over the water surrounded by lilly pads. Eventually they reach their camping spot and have a great time out in the water near by.
Ka Treasure Water Terraces Mountain Resort: A much-needed break from the noise of the city by @mariasalve
Staying at a hotel in the mountains over the weekend they enjoyed some time in the pools and got to enjoy the area before the crowds from the weekend got there.
Sagada tripping: Spelunking in Sumaguing cave and looking at pottery by @bananzell
https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@bananzell/sagada-tripping-spelunking-in-sumaguing
Going to explore some caves they went deep inside. Eventually the lights running on alcohol burned out and had to be relit. When this happened it would be very dark waiting for the light to be relit. Later on that day they visited a pottery making place. And checked out a small little museum near by.
Carlos Keen - un pueblo detenido en el tiempo (SPA – ENG) by @hosgug
https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@hosgug/carlos-keen-un-pueblo-detenido-en-el-tiempo
Visiting an old town, once quite busy but due to the rail roads being closed the town does not see as many people as it used to. They found a restaurant to eat at when in town.
Thats my five picks for this week, come back next week to see
Solo's next weekly picks. I curate posts every Tuesday and do this through MSP. Thanks so much to the Minnow Support Group for giving me the opportunity to serve as a curator!
There was a minnow support group? Strange OnO
I highly appreciate the mention ☺️☺️
There sure is, and no problem.. :-)
Alright I am all about the adventure and am about to go on a few more thanks to you sharing on the blockchain!
Awesome.
Thanks bud, and happy to do so.
The choice you make of publications worldwide is very interesting, you let us know many tourist places, even on several occasions we detail works of interest from different actions, I congratulate you. I take this opportunity to always thank you for the positive assessments you make of my publications. Hits @solominer
Much appreciated, I am glad to curate with the Minnow Support Group.
That's right @solominer when things are done with faith and optimism, the results will always be positive, which I'm happy for you. Thanks in advance for always answering me, that motivates me a lot to continue in Hive, with optimism. successes
