Because there are so many options and it is very difficult to get advice from someone with a quality film archive. (Sometimes they want to keep all the films to themselves) I saw a film that I watched the trailer years ago but I never noted it in my mind to watch it, I saw it in one of the instagram reels and I wanted to watch it by seeing my free time as an opportunity.

The first thing that catches the eye in the trailer of the film is a beautiful bride, a romantic wedding, a slightly funny family and a horror game. So I have to admit that I had a hard time understanding whether the film was a funny, romantic or horror film. The film stars Samara Weaving (grace) as the bride. The groom is Mark O'brien (alex)

Released in 2019, this film has an imdb score of 6.8.
If you are bored, I think it can add a little scream and a strange smile to your life.

Introduction and Description
Alex and Grace want to crown their love with marriage. But Alex's family is wealthy and a little strange. Grace, on the other hand, both loves Alex and prefers to get married in order to reach her family's existence early. The wedding takes place in the huge villa where the whole family lives. The only scary thing at the wedding is the dark black make-up of the maids and the grandmother of the house. Everything else is normal. Grace realises that there is something strange, but she is too drunk with the happiness of marrying Alex to see the meaninglessness around her. As he was about to share his first night with his wife, very strange relatives appeared in the couple's bedroom. They invited them to the music room where they had to keep the family traditions alive. Grace came to the room in her wedding dress and took the game box of someone named le beil coming towards her from Alex's father. There is a tradition that the family is obliged to. According to this tradition, everyone who enters the family must choose a card from this box and play the game on that card. Grace has chosen the most dreaded game of all. Hide and seek. According to the game of hide and seek, Grace will hide and all members of the house will find her. If Grace is not found and sacrificed by sunrise, the family members or the entire fortune will be completely destroyed. Grace, unaware of this situation, started a game of hide and seek with pleasure and trapped herself in an elevator. But she is shocked when a servant is mistaken for her and is murdered.
From this point on, the film becomes more tense.

Evaluation
I don't know what the director intended when he made this film, but if he was a Turk. I could claim that he turned the tragicomic dream of a new bride who feels like an outsider no matter what into a film. But I don't know how things work abroad. Maybe every newcomer is made to feel a bit foreign there too. What do you think?

Criticism
As a matter of fact, I find it very difficult to criticise in a negative sense because I love this kind of films, because I watch the film to move my senses and it was enough to make me laugh and shiver. And I am more affected by films in which I see our organs such as fingers or hands and feet suffering than other films. For this reason, there will always be a few scenes in a corner of my mind that I will always remember, even if I will forget the name of the film. I leave the criticism to professional critics.

Herkese merhaba. Şu sıralar ilgimi çeken bir film bulmak oldukça zor. Çünkü çok fazla seçenek var ve kaliteli bir film arşivi olan birinden tavsiye almak çok zor. (Bazen tüm filmleri kendilerine saklamak istiyorlar) Yıllar önce fragmanını izlediğim ama izlemek için hiç aklıma not etmediğim bir filmi instagram reelslerinden birinde gördüm ve boş zamanımı fırsat bilerek izlemek istedim.

Filmin fragmanında ilk göze çarpan güzel bir gelin, romantik bir nikah, biraz komik bir aile ve korku dolu bir oyun göze çarpıyor. Bu yüzden filmin komik mi romantik mi yoksa korku filmi mi olup olmadığını anlamakta zorlandığımı itiraf etmeliyim. Filmde başrolünde Gelin rolünü üstlenen Samara Weaving(grace) yer alıyor. Canınız sıkıldıysa hayatınıza biraz çığlık ve tuhaf bir gülümseme katabilir diye düşünüyorum.

Giriş ve Açıklama
Alex ve grace aşklarını evlilikle taçlandırmak istiyorlar. Fakat Alex'in ailesi varlıklı ve biraz da tuhaf. Grace ise hem Alex'i seviyor hem de ailesinin varlığına erken kavuşmak için evlenme yolunu tercih ediyor. Düğün tüm ailenin yaşadığı devasa villada gerçekleşiyor. Düğünde korku verici tek sey hizmetçilerin ve evin büyükannesinin koyu siyah makyajı. Onun dışında her şey normaldir. Grace bir tuhaflık olduğunu fark etse de Alexle evlenme mutluluğundan ötürü etrafındaki anlamsızlıkları göremeyecek kadar sarhoştur. Eşiyle ilk gecesini paylaşacağı esnada çok garip akrabalar çiftin yatak odasında belirmiştir. Onları aile geleneklerini yaşatmak zorunda oldukları müzik odasına davet etmişlerdir. Grace gelinliğiyle birlikte odaya gelmiş ve Alex'in babasından kendisine doğru gelen le beil isimli birinin oyun kutusun önüne almıştır. Ailenin mecbur olduğu bir gelenek vardır. Bu geleneğe göre aileye giren herkes bu kutudan bir kart seçerek o karttaki oyunu oynamak zorundadır. Grace ise en korkulan oyunu seçmistir. Saklambaç. Saklambaç oyununa göre grace saklanacak ve evin tüm üyeleri ise onu bulacaktır. Eğer gün doğana kadar Grace bulunamaz ve kurban edilmezse aile üyeleri veya tüm bu servet tamamen yok olacaktır. Grace bu durumdan habersiz olarak zevkle saklambac oyununa başlamış ve kendini bir asansöre hapsetmiştir. Fakat kendisi zannedilerek öldürülen bir hizmetçi şok geçirmesine sebep olmuştur.
Ve olaylar bu dakikadan sonra daha gerilimli akmaktadır.

Değerlendirme
Yönetmen bu filmi çekerken ne amaçlamış bilmiyorum ama eğer bir Türk olsaydı. Eve yeni gelen gelinin ne olursa olsun dışlanmış gibi hissettiğini anlatan trajikomik rüyasını filme dönüştürdüğünü iddia edebilirdim. Fakat işler yurtdışında nasıl yürür bilmiyorum. Belki de orada da her yeni gelene biraz yabancılık çektiriliyordur. Ne dersiniz?

Eleştiri
Aslına bakarsanız bu tarz filmleri sevdiğim için olumsuz anlamda eleştirmekte çok zorlanıyorum. Çünkü filmi hislerimi hareketlendirmesi için izlerim ve beni güldürüp titretmesi yetti. Ve ben parmakların ya da el ayak gibi organlarımızın acı çektiğini gördüğüm filmlerde diğer filmlere nazaran daha cok etkilenirim. Bu sebeple zihnimin bir köşesinde ismini cismini unutacak olsam bile hep hatırlayacağım birkac sahne hep var olacak. Eleştiriyi profesyonel eleştirmenlere bırakıyorum.
