Barguna Tour Start and End Story

Mission Barguna 📌

Barguna is a district where you can enjoy a mixed beauty of Kuakata and Sundarbans. Gewa, Keora, Golpata-filled mangrove sanctuary along with few unnamed sea beaches will take your trip to a unique height.

Suddenly our plan is to explore a new district in this busy summer. I crossed the Padma Bridge in an old rusted brown bus to Barguna, one of the tourist-rich districts of the southern region surrounded by greenery. Rent 700 per person!

Dhaka-Barisal highway has not yet developed a good highway restaurant, the condition of the toilets where the bus stopped for sehri was very deplorable. Hopefully, this system will improve in the near future. However, since the construction of the Padma Bridge, all the southern districts can be reached very quickly. Similarly, we boarded the bus at 12 pm and reached Barguna at 5 am

Arriving at Barguna, the most beautiful infrastructure we saw is the district bus terminal of this district, I don't know if there is such a beautiful bus terminal anywhere else in Bangladesh. Later I came to know that model bus terminals have also been built in some neighboring districts but Barguna is the most beautiful.

Around 5.15 in the morning, I talked to a ticket seller uncle for a while to charge my mobile phone. We had a good start to the day by talking to a helpful person so early in the morning. He was a little surprised when Barguna came to visit during fasting. He felt very sorry for his district for Rifat-Minni incident. He arranged a tomtom for us on our own to explore the nearby spots.

The background is over, now let's go to the story of Ghuraghuri. I went straight to Suranjana Eco Park. I went and saw that the park was closed It is normal to be closed so early in the morning. I asked the gateman and bought a 50 taka ticket and entered the park Although not very big, it is a bit different from the traditional park Green and green all around. After some beautiful infrastructure, three wooden walkways lead into the forest This 100-150 meter walk might make you say "This is amazin!"

After spending 2-3 hours in Suranjana, we again took the TomTom and went directly to Chailtatli Khiya Ghat, our destination is Taltali Upazila. We didn't have to wait even a minute to cross the huge Pigeon River, as if the food was waiting for us. Crossing Payra River we reached Bagi. We rented a bike from the buggy and went to the sea beach in the good evening It is good to say that one of the means of transportation here is motorcycle. Bike fare from Bagi to Shubo Sandhya and Tengragiri Eco Park via Taltali is Tk 200 per person. 2 people on one bike. The driver showed us the entire Tengragiri, no need to take a separate guide.

I reached good evening sea beach within an hour. On the way you will see Payra Thermal Power Station, huge watermelon fields, mung dal and lentil fields, sunflower gardens, some projects of Yamuna Group and villages one after another in the greenery. There were 3 of us on the beach, we saw some fishermen fishing in the hot sun. The interesting thing is that from here you can go to Haringhata, the eastern side of the Sundarbans by trawler, and even go to Bagwala Sundarbans via Mangla by sea. Anyone can try this adventure. Good evening, after staying at Sea Bee for an hour, we left by bike for our next spot, Tengragiri Ecopark.

One has to cross a small river to enter Tengragiri. Then a long walk. The objective was 2.

  1. You will find the sea after crossing the huge forest
  2. If you go left from the middle, you will find a walled pond with 8-10 crocodiles

Don't even try to approach the crocodile. More enjoyable than the crocodile sighting was the 3 hour trek through dense mangrove forest to see the sea which will remind you of some survival movie if only for a moment. The forest area around Tengragiri is also called Fatra Char. Better to say, Kuakata is very close from here. As we were very tired, we decided not to go back to Dhaka after Kuakata Whatever the case, the biker brothers dropped us at Nishanbaria Khiya Ghat, 5 km away. After looking at the map, I understood that, on the right, after crossing the Fatra Char and the river, it is Kuakata. If you raise your head a little while crossing Kheya, you will see Sheikh Jamal Bridge. Kuakata can be reached in 20-25 minutes by bike after crossing the river The fare is Tk 100 per person.

I try never to write bad things about any tourist place, but Kuakata is a place where those who have been have had some bad experiences. Some miscreants, syndicates, thieves, butpers in Kuakata can be responsible for ruining your entire trip without taking such beautiful memories as Barguna. So everyone should be very careful when traveling to Kuakata. We had many plans to have Iftar at Kuakata but later it didn't happen.
Somehow, I went to the hotel after iftar and brought my bags. I sat on the beach and enjoyed the sea for the last time. We had a great time for the last 2-3 hours.
"You can imagine what I can't explain"

We return to Dhaka by bus at 10 o'clock at night.
I apologize for any mistakes and writing in Bengali.

Don't waste the environment by littering everywhere, throw litter in specific places.
