Spring has arrived here in N.E. Oklahoma, as we climb out of a mild winter.

Spring is here with flowers and migrating birds showing up all over!

Jonquils are some of the earliest flowers:

They are bi-color blooms that are particularly attractive!

And:

The jonquils are a Mediterranean daffodil, that were brought here for the colors they show in the spring!

The hyacinth are also here early:

They show their colors in a compound flower head, ignoring temperature variations. This is one of my favorite flowers!

When I stopped at my quiet place, Canadian geese were migrating north:

I had to get pictures from a distance:

They are wild, and wary; but beautiful!

I had to sneak up behind a cedar tree to get close enough for any pictures:

It looks fairly close here, but he was sure watching me!

Actually, it was a lot further away that nt looks like in the picture above:

He watched while she ate, and decided I wasn't a threat; so I was able to get more pictures!

This is a place I go to frequently, because it is so quiet and relaxing! I take a lot of pictures here, so I can share the restoration I find.

Earlier there were Drake's on the pond:

It was sundown and there wasn't enough light to see their metallic blue heads.

But the sundown made up for it:

This is my favorite time on golden pond, because it really is golden! I love the colors.

Beautiful start of summer. I know have more problems with their health in winter.

True, these geese are just traveling through; but they are beautiful to watch! They just stopped off for a quick snack, on their long journey.

We we were growing up and would see, these bird used to pass through my area. It was a sign of the coming Christmas time. Bread or anything made from wheat used to be eaten only on Christmas.

Good memories! They migrate past here maybe the opposite, south in winter to avoid the cold🌨️, north in spring to reach their breeding grounds.

Christmas is good eating here too, lots of treats!

💗🤠💙🙏👍✝️
