I'm enjoying Liketu but maybe I should buzz off somewhere else!

Good evening my buzzing beauties! Look at this little buzzy bee making the most of the sunshine and enjoying a sip of glorious nectar from a flower! I've been utilising the power of Liketu for some months now, and although I find the ease of use and ability to make quick short posts pretty good, I'm drawn back to Sloth.buzz time and again! After all, that's where you'd normally find a buzzing sloth?

Do we need to add LikeTu as a Tag in order to be a contender for curation? Let's give it a bash in this post...

The buzz is something that goes around Hive all the time, whether it be the Sloths, the D or the Hivebuzz. It seems I'm not the only one that LikeTu buzz! Where is your favourite place to buzz on Hive?

If the purpose of posting on Liketu is just to receive curation from Liketu, then it is probably going to be hit and miss.

On the other hand, if it is somewhere you would like to build your Hive identity on, because the format and medium is to your liking and preference (and votes are just an extra) then i think you'll do well.

Our curation focuses on what we think gathers the most network attention. We are an attention economy after-all. So, getting people to React/Like your posts (they cost nothing aside from miniscule amounts of Resource Credits) and leave a comment, is the most direct way to show us, that attention and by extension, rewards should be directed your way.

The way your post is worded, sounds like it is a threat to leave for pastures new if curation is not guaranteed. That's not a particularly great way to go about getting results.

Thanks for the reply, I see no threats here, merely asking where people like to buzz on Hive, with the hope of gaining some engagement. (and of course, giving the sloth.buzz site a little mention!) It seems it was enough to grab your attention and create some engagement.

The Liketu upvote isn't the main aim of posting here, (however does help with pushing content up the scale of noticeability as it becomes more hot' on the chain). As mentioned, I like the ability to make short posts with my original photos, Liketu seems the perfect platform for such content, perhaps I need to refine my tags to gather better engagement.

It would indeed be great to see more reacts on Liketu from other users, although I must admit I haven't used that feature myself either, perhaps some contests to rally engagement within the Liketu platform could be in order. Have you considered using something like Zealy to encourage more participation from users?
