Well, the SlothBuzz tree is definitely buzzing, so I thought we'd do another little update to let you know how you can get involved and become a SlothBuzzer! Most of this information is normally concealed in our footnotes, so let's open it up a little and explore Sloth.Buzz!

How can you get involved?

Sloth.Buzz main focus is supporting small creators, from P2E game streamers to musicians and artists! If you create great content, we'll support you! We can't help but enjoy memes and "fun" content too! We're not too serious at SlothBuzz, come and have some fun with us!

By posting to Sloth.Buzz, you can earn $slothbuzz tokens, which can be used to curate more great content and highlight it in the featured section on Sloth.Buzz. With the bonus of more $slothbuzz tokens as curation rewards!
Plus you'll also have the chance to feature in the weekly Sloth.Buzz curation report! Highlighting your content to even more buzzers on Hive!

SlothBuzz Token + Burn Mechanism.

The slothbuzz token currently has a circulating supply of about 9500, an ideal time to get involved, stake them, curate and earn even more!

Slothbuzz also has a quirky burn mechanism in the shape of @slothburn. This hive account is dedicated to burning Hive tokens! Posting a couple of times a week, with all author rewards being burnt! This keeps the Slothbuzz token supply low, with only 6.9 minted daily from the 420m supply, some weeks have almost been deflationary!

Slothbuzz Hive Witness

You can vote for Slothbuzz as a Hive witness. Via HiveSigner or Peakd/Ecency witness voting pages.

SlothBuzz is dedicated to building tools and features on Hive, which we will share with the community utilising our witness node. If you have any spare votes, a vote for slothbuzz is very much appreciated and will allow us to continue building and growing on Hive!

Each user has 30 votes, with 0 costs to the user. Voting for witnesses allows Hive's decentralisation by allowing witnesses to check and verify blockchain transactions.

We're currently just outside the top 100 active nodes, it would be great to break into the top 100! Make sure to check occasionally on the progress and activity of your voted witnesses to ensure they're providing benefit to Hive.

Fanbase / Curation Trails - Autovoting Slothbuzz

You could follow the @slothbuzzcurator curation trail on Hive.vote. This is the main voting/curation account for Sloth.Buzz content. By following the curation trail you would automatically follow SlothBuzzCurator with your share of SlothBuzz tokens (voting power). Meaning you'll receive curation rewards! You can do it manually on Sloth.Buzz for the best experience or via the communities curated section - link

You can earn $slothbuzz tokens (if you have previously staked tokens) by joining the @SlothBuzz "fanbase" on hive.vote which will auto-vote SlothBuzz posts including the curation reports, earning your share of curation rewards.

This allows you to vote for the best content even if you can't be online to check it out! Autovoting can be a great tool to maximise your rewards, just make sure to check the settings to limit when you start/stop voting based on your resource credits! You don't want to go too low or power will take longer to replenish!
