Hello Afri-tunes community, it's week #70 of our weekly contest and as always I'm excited to share my entry. For this week I'd be performing a song by Nigerian singer-songwriter Kizz Daniel called "Buga". He features Tekno on this record. The song was released in the year 2022 and it became an instant success topping several charts for weeks. The beat of the song is one that would make you move your body no matter how stiff you think you might be (lol for those like me that can't dance to save their lives 🤣), it also has a very catchy and lovely hook which is repeated almost through out the song. The song is sung in Yoruba and pidgin English.

"Buga" is a yoruba word that means to flaunt one's success or achievement. The song just really encourages us to enjoy ourselves as we put in the work, we should take out time to also unwind and live life. Let your success speak loudly,enjoy your success....you deserve it😊. The lyrics of the song emphasizes on the fact that people work hard for their money and so they should be proud to flaunt the success of their hard work. You deserve to live life, it's not always easy, it's never rosy at all times but then we must take out time to unwind and enjoy ourselves no matter what we're going through (you seff dey try 😉). Don't wear your problems on your face.... life is beautiful, enjoy it!.

Hola comunidad de Afri-tunes, es la semana #70 de nuestro concurso semanal y, como siempre, estoy emocionado de compartir mi participación. Esta semana interpretaría una canción del cantautor nigeriano Kizz Daniel llamada "Buga". Presenta a Tekno en este disco. La canción se lanzó en el año 2022 y se convirtió en un éxito instantáneo, encabezando varias listas durante semanas. El ritmo de la canción te haría mover el cuerpo sin importar cuán rígido creas que podrías ser (lol para aquellos como yo que no pueden bailar para salvar sus vidas 🤣), también tiene un gancho muy pegadizo y encantador. que se repite casi a lo largo de la canción. La canción se canta en yoruba y en inglés pidgin.

"Buga" es una palabra yoruba que significa hacer alarde del éxito o logro de uno. La canción realmente nos anima a disfrutar mientras hacemos el trabajo, debemos tomarnos un tiempo para relajarnos y vivir la vida. Deja que tu éxito hable en voz alta, disfruta de tu éxito... te lo mereces 😊. La letra de la canción enfatiza el hecho de que las personas trabajan duro por su dinero y por eso deberían estar orgullosos de alardear del éxito de su arduo trabajo. Mereces vivir la vida, no siempre es fácil, nunca es color de rosa en todo momento, pero luego debemos tomarnos un tiempo para relajarnos y disfrutar sin importar por lo que estemos pasando (usted seff dey intentar 😉). No pongas tus problemas en la cara.... la vida es bella, disfrútala!.
