HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK #213/ LOVE YOURSELF BY JUSTIN BIEBER/ COVERED BY SLEEMFIT✨

Hello everyone, welcome to our weekly concert on the Hive Open Mic Community 🥁, it's week #213 and in line with the theme "Self-love" I'd be performing a song by Canadian singer and songwriter Justin Bieber called "Love Yourself". This record was released in the year 2015 off his fourth studio album "Purpose"and I must say that album got me on chokehold when it it first came out, all the songs there are so good although I have some favourites...I still listen to the album to date, it's that nice 😉. I have chosen to perform this song cause obviously it's one of my favourite songs, I can relate to the lyrics and of course it goes in line with this week's theme.

The song basically is a dismissal to an arrogant ex-lover, someone who feels they're perfect and have extreme admiration for themselves never admitting their wrongs or their faults. If they think they are that perfect and without flaws, they should go and love themselves cause no one is perfect and their high expectations wouldn't get them nobody to love. Since they think they're perfect, they should keep loving themselves alone. You wish you had realised the kind of person they were earlier, but you were too caught up in your job that you didn't see what was going on. Now you know, you'd rather sleep alone and avoid anything that would bring you two close. You finally realize your self and avoid other people's expectations of you to pressure you or make you tense, making you feel like you're not enough, you're not worth it. You know you're flawed and always try to do better, don't let anyone talk down on you, you alone know the struggle and actually trying your best. Stay true to yourself and avoid people who make you feel less, trying to make you be what you're not. You can only do this if you love yourself and know your worth. Hola a todos, bienvenidos a nuestro concierto semanal en la Comunidad Hive Open Mic 🥁, es la semana #213 y en línea con el tema "Self-love" estaría interpretando una canción del cantante y compositor canadiense Justin Bieber llamada "Love Yourself" . Este disco fue lanzado en el año 2015 de su cuarto álbum de estudio "Purpose" y debo decir que ese álbum me asfixió cuando salió por primera vez, todas las canciones que contiene son muy buenas, aunque tengo algunas favoritas... todavía Escuchen el disco hasta la fecha, es así de bonito 😉. Elegí interpretar esta canción porque obviamente es una de mis canciones favoritas, puedo identificarme con la letra y, por supuesto, va en línea con el tema de esta semana.

La canción básicamente es un despido hacia un ex amante arrogante, alguien que se siente perfecto y tiene una admiración extrema por sí mismo y nunca admite sus errores ni sus faltas. Si creen que son tan perfectos y sin defectos, deberían ir y amarse a sí mismos porque nadie es perfecto y sus altas expectativas no les darán a nadie a quien amar. Como se creen perfectos, deberían seguir amándose solos a sí mismos. Desearías haberte dado cuenta antes del tipo de persona que era, pero estabas demasiado atrapado en tu trabajo como para no ver lo que estaba pasando. Ahora ya lo sabes, preferirías dormir solo y evitar cualquier cosa que los acerque. Finalmente te realizas y evitas las expectativas que otras personas tienen de ti para presionarte o ponerte tenso, haciéndote sentir que no eres suficiente, que no vales la pena. Sabes que tienes defectos y siempre tratas de hacerlo mejor, no dejes que nadie te menosprecie, solo tú conoces la lucha y realmente haces lo mejor que puedes. Mantente fiel a ti mismo y evita a las personas que te hacen sentir menos, tratando de hacerte ser lo que no eres. Sólo puedes hacer esto si te amas a ti mismo y conoces tu valor.
