Hello Afri-tunes community, I trust we all are doing okay. For this week I'd be covering the secular song as suggested in the community for this week, I'd be performing Unavailable by Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer "Davido". He features Musakeys on this record. Unavailable is a song off Davido's most recent album Timeless which was released last year (2023). I chose this song cause it's one of my favourite records off the timeless album, amazing beat. I'm not a great dancer but the song would make you want to move your body 😉. Arguably one of the biggest song of last year, the song went viral with different challenge on the social media space across borders. The song basically talks about being unavailable to negative energy and things that don't bring money to the table. Just living life on your own terms and at your own pace. No time for competition or pressure, but just trying to grow personally doing your own thing, putting in the work. Unavailable also speaks about being human so no one should expect him (Davido) to be perfect even though he's a global star, He's unavailable to the tongue lash from critics. He's only just living his life and wants to be happy. Forthe remaining days of this year my friends, try your best possible to be unavailable to negativity....focus on the things that serve you, that puts food on your table, stop the comparison. Everyone's journey is different, keep doing your thing...e go surely pay one day 🙏.
