Expectations and Deadline.

More you expect from anyone or anything, more disappointment. Unless you put deadline to things, life does not grow, nor plans execute, nor your actions change. Deadline makes life worth living.

That image is from the Dbuzz's button of GIF. That's not plagiarism. It's giphys gif source offered in the Dbuzz interface itself. If you have problem with that ask DBuzz for the fix not me. I used what they offered in GIF tab.

This is a good attempt. Yes, not using the source of the image is considered plagiarism unless the author states they created it. In this regard, you can just research the imagery no matter the format. The author mentions that the Gif source is part of @Dbuzz's interface so we'd have to look into it or simply ask.

Notice though that the author reflects the assignment of the question to the interface used. It's a valid point. So, if the image IS plagiarized, then we would need to consult Dbuzz. If we found the image was plagiarized, we'd still need to hold the author accountable, temporarily, until we squared things away. In the case of VYB, I would just investigate. I would not mute the author. It was easy to look this one up.

It's an easy search, one possible source of the GIF is here: https://www.thefunlearning.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

I don't think it's a big deal right now and it's a minor issue. The GIF image used is found on dozens of sites. People just don't typically look outside of the interface they're using as it's assumed it's good to use.

I like how you approached this topic. Just remember that a lack of a source link indicates plagiarism, but there's usually much more to the story. Use of a GIF-interface kind of absolves skysnap. So, I think the image is too common to cite. It may be something more like a creative commons issue.

This was interesting read.

I assume any image on sites like that claims to be copyright-free imagery, (that's known for being relatively safe from plagiarism,) is okay to work with...

Especially if the link of the image itself leads to one of these sites. This is the case here.

I usually don't cite my sources in my micro-posts, but usually, the source should be clear from the post itself... This made me want to be more careful though. Especially when I use photos taken from google search. Hmmm...

Yeah, given it's a dbuzz comment I don't know of the expectation especially if the GIFs are available automatically. I doubt the group makes their own gifs. They probably get it from other sources and make it available to their community. I would expect that more than anything.

I have a love/hate relationship with Deadlines, I know their importance but they cause me a lot of anxiety and I hardly seem to keep them...
