Friday Night Smackdown Review - Will CM Punk Sign To Raw Or Smackdown?

Before I get started with the blog, let me share the video of the main topic of this blog

Now for today's blog, well it's Saturday and that only means that Friday night Smackdown happened yesterday. It was a lot of drama and tension as it probably would be with one of the most controversial superstars on the planet, CM Punk around.

Last night's episode was a special one as a tribute to the troops of America. One of the moments that was really special was when Cody Rhodes introduced the US army Drill troops to display their skills with the rifles.

To be honest I was freaking out a bit for those guys because they were making a little bit of a risky stunt with long rifles that had a knife at the mouth edge.

Apparently they were very well trained so they made it look easy.

There was also a tag team main event match between the team of Randy Orton and L.A Knight versus Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. Of course Jimmy got pinned after receiving a painful RKO from the legend killer Randy Orton.

Well before the match happened, Randy was a bit skeptical about teaming up with L. A Knight because he didn't know him that well. However Randy and Knight were able to play along, won the match and earned each other's respect.

That was the last event of Friday night however there were a lot of other events.

The highlight of the night obviously was CM Punk coming to talk. Punk went all out last night picking on every single relevant Wrestler.

He talked about Roman Reigns. The good part was that he began by saying he acknowledges Roman Reigns and congratulated him on all his successes.

Reigns has been Universal Champion for over 3 years and he definitely deserves the respect. However Punk continued by saying that Paul Heyman the special council to Roman Reigns was the real OG and not Roman. That was a serious diss to Roman.

He also said and that's a fact that Paul Heyman was his wise man before becoming Reigns's wise man. Paul has worked with quite a lot of great guys in the past including Brock Lesnar, Cesaro, The Big Show, Ryback, Rob Van Dam, CM Punk and Roman Reigns.

He tried to talk about the one guy that has had a problem with his comeback to the WWE, Seth Freaking Rollins the current World Heavyweight Champion.

Punk referred to Seth Rollins as the one bad apple that spoils the entire bunch. Well CM Punk has a decision to make just like Randy Orton had his decision to make last week. Punk has to decide between joining Monday Night Raw or joining Friday Night Smackdown.

Well thankfully he promised everyone that he was going to think about it and would definitely make his final decision on this coming Monday Night Raw episode. He would also be talking to Adam the manager of Raw and would also talk over the phone with the legend Shawn Michaels before making his decision.

For me I think the decision has already been made because everyone would definitely want to see how Seth Rollins and CM Punk would settle their score on Monday Night Raw.

However if CM Punk chooses to go to Smackdown, I think we would probably have an entire Roman and Brock situation again.

What I mean is that since Paul Heyman was once the manager of CM Punk and is currently the manager and special council to Roman Reigns, it would be a very interesting and controversial situation for Paul.

If CM Punk chooses Smackdown live, he would automatically have a common enemy with Randy Orton; The Bloodline.

Which is why CM Punk said that the bloodline is a team of cousins so he would probably need help and he doesn't know if Randy would be able to work with him. He also mentioned that there could be a possibility of working with Kevin Owens too.

CM Punk also made an official announcement that he would be joining next year's Royal Rumble and guys I think he's definitely going to win.

He would then face either Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns if he wins. I'm guessing he'll probably win and face Seth Rollins just like I predicted in my previous blog.

Last night was definitely a wild night and a tribute to the troops of America.
