What is Astral Entities?

Astral Entities is a universe of games in development by Hella Rad Games @cryptoreaper and @tanzofett that will use the same NFT's available now at https://www.astralentities.com for all their games in the Astral Entities Universe. The purpose of Astral Entities is to release a number of games with a cohesive lore all utilizing the same NFT's. Developers will also have the option of creating in network official titles and unofficial titles using the NFT's.

There are three games currently in development:

Taergyn

Taergyn is like playing Go with D&D inspired Fantasy characters with an array of stats, classes, and an epic depth of lore. This is the flagship game of the series and is expected to launch Q1 2022.

Discordant Adventures

Developed by @kiokazz, is a text based adventure on Discord. Alpha testing for the program is live now on the discord server, but there is no cryptocurrency attached yet. This will be the first game released with a goal of Q1 2022.

The Hunter's Guild

The Hunter's Guild will be a Gamified staking game with an emphasis on the Gamified. On timed adventures, you will be forced to make a number of hard decisions that could take twists and turns in this choose your own adventure.

Many, Many more games planned for release down the line with options being developed for developers to create their own unofficial or official games.

What I pulled Today

I'm not mad at today's pack, but I am disappointed. It's not the worst possible results, but it's not the insanely good RNG I've become accustomed to either! I pulled two T2's, and 8 T1's picture below.

Gnome Tinker is a T1 Trickster with the traits Nosey and Distracting. All Gnomes have the Nosey trait, and they know why!!! While all tricksters have the distracting trait because prestidigitation. As far as T1's go, I like these stats, while all speculation at this point with no games released is wildly inaccurate, it's still fun! 14 Dex and 14 Wit is pretty good for a T1 where most stats don't rise above 12 or 13.

Gnome Wanderer is a T1 Hunter with the traits Nosey and Agile. All hunters have the agile trait, and Gnomes are Nosey. 14 Awareness is pretty good for a T1, and 13 Dexterity and Wit is pretty interesting. Can't wait to see if these combination of, usually disparate stats, will work together synergistically in some fun ways. I'm not holding my breath on this one though.

Shadowborne Conscript is a T1 Defender with the traits Stealthy (Shadowborne Race Trait) and Stalwart (Defender Class Trait). Shadowborne Conscript is a bit of a generalist with a wide spread of stats, and it's hard to tell if min/maxers, generalists, or a combination of the two will have the biggest advantage in the games in development. It's even possible that Taergyn will reward min maxing, but then Hunter's guild could reward generalists. It's all reckless but fun speculation for now. And for now, we have no idea what role traits will provide in the games.

The Fleet and Studious Elven Mage has 13 Agility, 13 Intelligence, and 13 Awareness for when you need a mage in a pinch who can keep up with your scouting party. All wild speculation without any games out yet, but I LIKE this card for a T1. Then again, I probably like every card. Just how I am.

The Nosey Quick Fingered Shadowborne Bandit is a T2 thief, and I pulled two of them today. While I was hoping for some better pulls, I'll admit he did steal my heart. The art is really cool on this one, and I love the 14 Dex, Wit, and Awareness. Seems like a pretty neat spread of stats.

I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of humans. They just don't really pop to me, but this Versatile Calming Human Healer might just save me in a pinch one day. Until we know what the traits do, we really can't just look at stats alone, and we don't even have game mechanics yet to look at the stats within proper context. Humans could end up being the best cards in the game, but goddess I hope not. 14 sprint is interesting on him though-- I really shouldn't sleep on him till I see him in action.

This card makes me smile ear to ear. The Furious yet Calming Orc Healer is a T1 priest with 13 Might, 13 Speed, and 13 Awareness. I just love the art, and the contrast between his stats. With one hand he heals, and with the other he harnesses the full might of the orcish blood within him to smite those who would hard those in his care. He's basically Mordin from Mass Effect except Mordin would be a T6.

I get a pretty strong Tyrion Lannister vibe from the Gnome Sage. He looks like he drinks and knows things, and his traits Nosey and Studious do seem to support that conclusion. The 14 wit definitely helps me with that mental image too! The other stats are pretty well spread out, so I would consider him a bit of a generalist, but that 14 could make or break. Can't wait to find out and try these cards in action!!!
