What to Expect from the Daily Pack Articles

Each of these Daily Pack Openings is about 450 words in the template for explaining what Astral Entities is and where to find more information on it. I will discuss every single card I pulled in today's pack in detail making my best, uninformed guesses at how the card will be in the Astral Entities Universe. If you are new to the universe, read below to find out more. If you're already familiar with Astral Entities, scroll on down to What I pulled today for the 500-800 word discussion on today's pack. What is Astral Entities?

Astral Entities is a universe of games in development by Hella Rad Games @cryptoreaper and @tanzofett that will use the same NFT's available now at https://www.astralentities.com for all their games in the Astral Entities Universe. The purpose of Astral Entities is to release a number of games with a cohesive lore all utilizing the same NFT's. Developers will also have the option of creating in network official titles and unofficial titles using the NFT's.

There are three games currently in development:

Taergyn

Taergyn is like playing Go with D&D inspired Fantasy characters with an array of stats, classes, and an epic depth of lore. This is the flagship game of the series and is expected to launch Q1 2022.

Discordant Adventures

Developed by @kiokizz, is a text based adventure on Discord. Alpha testing for the program is live now on the discord server, but there is no cryptocurrency attached yet. This will be the first game released with a goal of Q1 2022.

The Hunter's Guild

The Hunter's Guild will be a Gamified staking game with an emphasis on the Gamified. On timed adventures, you will be forced to make a number of hard decisions that could take twists and turns in this choose your own adventure.

Many, Many more games planned for release down the line with options being developed for developers to create their own unofficial or official games.

What I pulled Today

I pulled a T4, and I can't tell you how excited I am to show you it! I'm also not complaining about the two T2's that came with it! Today was a pretty awesome pack, and I just noticed that I'm one pack away from owning over 500 Astral Entities NFT's. It's been a fun couple months following this project, and I can't wait to see the Taergyn Promo video soon! They just got in the Physical Cards for testing, and they're arranging them into decks. I'll be sharing that soon too!

Dwarf Conscript

The Dwarf Conscript is a T1 Sturdy and Stalwart Defender. It seems to me, in my uneducated and wild speculation, that Dwarven Defenders will be quite good at every tier. 14 Vitality and 14 Endurance just seems so good, but till the games are out for testing, I'm really just shooting in the dark. His worst stat is speed, which isn't too much of a shock. As Gimli points out in the Lord of the Rings, Dwarves are sprinters not distance runners. You'll notice the conscript does have the 12 Sprint to back that claim up!

Dwarf Grunt

Dwarven Warriors is another class and race I'm pretty interested in since they have all around strong Physical stats. No stat under 12 in the Physical category is pretty interesting, but it's impossible to say if it'll mean much when the games are out. It seems to me to be a pretty likely bet though. This sturdy and tough Dwarf Warrior is full of vitality with a stat of 14. I could see these warriors doing quite well when you want an off tank without a second full tank. Seems like an all around good Warrior spread of stats.

Elf Brute

The T2 Elf Brute is a Fleet and Tough T2 Warrior with 14 Agility and Awareness with 13 Might. These seem like pretty good stats for a warrior, and I like that he's a bit more specialized. Most of his stat points seem concentrated in stats that are likely to benefit his class, and I think the Elf Warrior line is a decent one to follow.

Dwarf Spearman

Dwarf Spearman is the Sturdy and Stalwart next level to the Dwarf Conscript. This T2 Defender gains a point in Might and a point in Endurance over his Tier 1 counterpart. I really think that Dwarven Defenders will be quite useful, but I can't be sure. I'm curious to see if the more specialized Min/Maxed characters perform beside the generalists with a more even stat spread and less weaknesses. Will be interesting if generalists succeed at much higher rates in Taergyn, but then you need the specialists to team together to pass all the stat checks in a Hunter's Guild party. Personally, I think that would be really cool.

Orc Wanderer

Not all who wander are lost, and that feels especially true of the Orc Hunters. While no single stat really stands out as exceptionally high, 13 Might, 13 Agility, 13 Vitality, 14 Speed, and 13 awareness seem to be some good stats to pick for a hunter class. This card feels about dead center between min/maxed, since he does have some pretty high stats, and generalist, since he has many stats that are high. Could be pretty interesting to see how he does, and we also don't yet know what role the traits will play. Once we know what function the traits will play, any speculation purely on stats will be out the window.

Orc Tinker

The Furious and Distracting Orc Tinker is a T1 Trickster with 13 Might and Speed and 12 Agility, Dexterity, Wit, Awareness, and Luck. I'd consider the Orc Tinker a little bit more of a generalist than Min/Maxed, though his 10 charisma might lead you to choose another party member to go to the shop to pick up snacks.

Gnome Scavenger

The Gnome Scavenger is a T2 Trickster with the traits Nosey and Distracting. His best stat is 15 Dexterity, which is quite high for a T2, and his 14 Wit and Awareness is quite impressive too. I'm not 100% sure what stats Tricksters will lean into caring about the most, but I like these big stats. I cannot lie.

Shadowborne Grunt

The Stealthy and Tough Shadowborne Grunt is a T1 Warrior with a pretty even spread of stats with the exception of Luck, which is his worst stat. He does seem a bit all over the map, and time will tell whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Shadowborne Sage

The Stealth and Studious Shadowborne Sage is a T1 Mage with 14 Perseverance, 13 Ego, and 12 or less of all other stats. Might and Luck are her weakest stats at 10, and I'm not sure how much Mages will be relying on Perseverance and Ego. I'm not 100& sure, but this seems like a bargain bin common.

Schemer

I'm always happy pulling a T4, and she does seem interesting. The Massive, Distracting, and Deceitful Schemer is a T4 Giant Trickster with 14 Dexterity and Awareness and 13 Endurance, Intelligence, Wit, and Luck. It seems that Vitality is her weakest stat, but other than that, she has a pretty even spread of stats. It will be interesting to see how shew does in batte.
