Wednesday Walk - Christmas is Here

Here are a few Christmas decorations on my walk to work for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

The first display was in the train station. There is usually a piano here but they replaced it with some Christmas trees and giant decorations that can't even fit on the tree.

I think bright lights during Christmas was invented to counteract the gloom of the Northern hemisphere.

Some of the buildings get lit up with red and green here too. I'm sure more will be coming online once it gets closer to Christmas.

Here is the CME building with a pretty large tree. Not much to do in there to balance out the minimal modern look.

Now in my office they have setup tiny decorations on the community tables. Looks like we have some treats coming our way too.

Smaller decorations are these ninja weapons? I think this is supposed to be some kind of sparkle or snowflake but damn it is sharp.

The main desk has a little tree and some snowflakes hung up.

They switched up the random decorations on the shelves a bit too to look more festive. I have no idea where they store all this stuff and what the schedule of rotation is.

Books are kind of just props around here to look cool. No one will ever read them but at least they serve as a good surface for this odd clay shape.

One of my coworkers changed the fact of the day. Apparently flamingos bend their knees at the ankle. There are still some illustrations left over from prior facts of the day, one about cows making friends and armadillos being bullet proof.

Our internal project of the month is to make a holiday quiz to send out to clients. It will run you through questions to determine what kind of Christmas creature you are. It will be themed with fake ads about our company that look retro early 2000s.

Now back to illustrations, that's all for now, thanks for looking :-)

That reminds me, maybe this year we'll take a drive next to the home alone movie house in the northern suburbs.

I think those small spiky decorations might represent stars. Just a guess...

The look like a silver sticker device where you accidentally brush up against the tree and end up with load of them stuck on you lol.

I haven't scored tarantula yet on the quiz. I'll have to check and see if potbelly pig is one of them.
